Even Better than we had hoped for!
"My sister and I stayed here for a few days of rest and relaxation. It was ideal for the two of us. Lily was great at getting back to us and making sure our questions were answered timely. The home was very clean and everything we could think us was provided for, (including lots of towels, a hair dryer, soaps and shampoos, cleaning products, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with baking and cooking equipment as well as paper goods. There is a Safeway market nearby to get anything else you will need. We loved the garden that led up to the lake. It was very peaceful to sit outside on the patio and have our morning coffee. The neighbors were very kind, quiet, and respectful of our privacy. Even though the water level in the lake was very low, we found a silver lining..... We had our own private beach! Everything was so close that we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Yet, the home was far enough off the main road to make it feel like we were in the woods. The neighborhood is well cared for and we felt very safe. We walked to the small town and rented bikes from the Tahoe Bike Company. They were terrific, reasonably priced and provided us with maps of great trail rides. We also took the gondola at Heavenly. Spectacular views and great hiking at the top as well as a really fun ropes course, zip line, and tubing. Get there early to zip line. It sells out quickly! There is a public beach, (also walking distance), which has kayaks and paddle boards to rent, an ice cream store, live music and events. If you are a sweet-tooth, don't miss the Bear's Den at the Ski Run Marina. They have lots of souvenirs, but the best part was their almond roca and fudge! The lady that works there is really passionate about Lake Tahoe and she can give you the low down on everything that is happening around town - just ask!"

"Two families stayed at this cozy home in the South Lake Tahoe area. Location was great (close to all the stores) and everything in the house was just perfect. Lots and lots of linens, well stocked kitchen, tissues/papertowels, and laundry detergent, just to name some of the things provided in this wonderful home. Hope to visit again, maybe next time in the summer!"

"A group of friends stayed for my husband's birthday and we had a blast at this beautiful home! Only 5 minutes or so from Heavenly Village and the casinos, but very private. The house itself was great for a larger group -- 5 bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. And great walking/running trails right out the back. I highly recommend this house!"
