  • Nice location with honest and responsive owner

"I rented the cabin 2 months before the holiday season. The owner was honest and responsive to my request for information. Upon arrival everything was as listed and when I had questions the owner quickly responded or made corrections. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location was easy to access and close to everything. I would rent the cabin again and would recommend this location for families of 6-8 people."

  • Perfect location !!

"I got married last weekend in Lake Tahoe and needed a big place for some of the family members to stay with us. I searched online and stumbled onto this property so I contacted the owner and it was available for my dates. I was skeptical because at the time it had no reviews and I'm a yelper!! Sure enough I mailed her a check and that same week she not only mailed me a key but a map on how to get there. (Driving to Lake Tahoe was a nightmare, there was a fatal accident and we did not get to the cabin until 11pm on Friday) I ignored the map and mapquested the address. BIG MISTAKE!! the roads were closed, eventually I pulled out her map and sure enough made it there. It's very close to restaurants, Heavenly Skii Resort, and grocery stores. I drive a Corolla and needed chains to get up the driveway but my other fam did not with their SUV. The parking is wide and log enough for multiple cars. The house was very clean, and once the heater kicked on the house warmed up nicely, so much so that in the middle of the night we were warm and toasty. There were more than enough beds, extra mattresses in almost every closet, extra sheets, lots of towels, a good selection of movies, lots of firewood, and many dishes to feed an entire army on. I felt at home there, nice and cozy. The only complaint I would have is that we ran out of hot water rather quickly the day of my wedding and everyone needed to take a shower but that's expected anywhere. The area is beautiful, I'm from the Bay Area and had not been to the snow in years!! I'm so glad we stayed there, and I hope to return soon. There's even a bbq pit thing inside! and a huge grill for the outside. The fireplace is huge, we found lots of board games to play and even a dog leash to tie the kids up with (jk) we forgot ours. We had an amazing time and thank the family who owns this cabin for sharing it with us!"

  • Five Star Rental

"We planned our annual Family Vacation with 20 in our party a year in advance. I am so happy that we chose this property. This residence exceeded our expectations. The property is very well maintained and everything was in working order. The owner thought of everything to accommodate the comfort of it's guests. I am very picky and cleanliness is important to me. This residence was immaculate and very comfortable for all 20 of us in our family. There was plenty of living space and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The beautiful kitchen was stocked with the utmost quality appliances, both large and small. It's only a couple of miles from the lake and casinos. I hope someday soon we can return to this beautiful residence. Anyone who rents this should not be disappointed. Sherry was a pleasure to work with as well."

  • Great location and fun house!

"We had so much fun on this trip to Tahoe! The house is located about 1 minute drive away from Heavenly's California Lodge (a block and a half away), but unless you are a college student or without ski gear you don't want to walk. Just a few minutes drive away from the casinos and fun on Stateline (and the grocery store). Kitchen was great, but beware there isn't a spice rack or condiments in the fridge. There is a grill off the kitchen which is nice. Cable TV in the living room. Books and puzzles and games. LOVE the foosball table. Played cards a few nights on the huge dining room table. Plenty of hot water for showers (even after 4 showers In a row). Washer and dryer with detergent provided. Awesome decks and fireplace. Obstructed lake view from back deck, but you can't get it all! No TVs in 2 of the bedrooms which was a bummer a couple of nights, but not a deal breaker. Very attentive owner and property manager. We would stay here again! We primarily skied Heavenly, snowmobiles one day, went to Tahoe City one day which was fun (great photo ops along the way), and hung out by the base of the gondola other days. Went to the Keys, but it wasn't anything special in our opinion. Only about an hour and 15 min from Reno airport (and there is a Walmart and two In N Out burgers along the way)."
