  • Great location and VERY dog friendly

"The house has a tile floor, so the fact that it was raining and there were muddy paws, it was a easy clean up. The back yard is completely fenced and gated. The access to the lake is so easy, and a lot of people there with dogs, special area for the dogs at the lake. The house is small, but well set up to enjoy your time there. I appreciated the "extras" in the cupboard, coffee, salt pepper, some other spices. And lot of pots and pans, plates, etc. if you are going to cook. We were told that the wood stove was "tricky", but we had no issues getting it going and keeping it going, they had lots of wonderful firewood. With a blower on the woodstove, it made the cabin very cozy, even with the cold outside. We ventured out quite a bit because of how centrally located the cabin is to either South Shore, the ski areas, and Camp Richardson. Nice neighborhood to just go for a walk and look at all the houses decorated for the holidays. We really enjoyed our stay and will probably rent again because of the location and dog friendly nature."

  • Great spot A+

"This place was Beautiful!!!!. Home is very isolated, did not see anyone else from the front of the home. Felt like a cabin on its own mountain lots of room we had 11 full size guys staying there with no problems. But if you do that bring a few blow up mattresses. I have made a trip every summer and rented a house. This was the nicest home I have been in, in Tahoe. It is about 15 to 20 minutes from state line. But if you're winning at the tables is only about a $35 cab ride. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. Enjoy we all did"

  • Great stay; great home in Tahoe

"Home is beautifully kept - our family had a great time in Tahoe even though we had a rainy weekend. Spent a couple of nice evenings enjoying a glass (or two) of wine by a nice warm fire; spent afternoon playing a game or two of Candyland found in a closet. The neighborhood is quite nice: enjoyed the hot tub on a cool evening with wife. Home is very conveniently located about a mile from the main road in Tahoe and about a mile from the lake. Beautiful views nearby and close to some great attractions in Camp Richardson (like Taylor Creek). We took the kids there on Sunday before heading back home to East Bay - beautiful views from Taylor Creek and the largest pinecones you'll see in your life. I highly recommend this home for a romantic weekend or a weekend with family!"
