  • Two nights of peace & quiet in the mountains

"The cabin was perfect for my wife & I and our two children. Our four year old son quickly established the sleeping arrangements when we arrived: he & dad would sleep in the loft and mom & his baby sister would sleep in the bedroom! The cabin is well stocked, clean and comfortable. I contacted Tom vie email during our stay & he was prompt and courteous in our correspondence. We dined at Passaretti's and Lake Tahoe Pizza Company for a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. Overall we had excellent stay in this cozy cabin & enjoyed South Lake Tahoe!"

  • Charming, cozy, delightful!

"We stayed in this cabin in mid-June with our 2-yr old son and our two small dogs. The cabin was quiet and peaceful, yet close to the commercial district and main road leading to the lake, and right across the street from a great pizza joint, so it was very convenient. It was surprisingly clean for being so dog-friendly! I wouldn't recommend it for families with a crawling baby (uneven staircase leading to the loft and not the cleanest living room carpet because of how dog-friendly the cabin is), but for two-year olds and up it was awesome - and for families with DOGS IT ROCKS! The loft was perfect for our son, he had a great time playing with the GIANT stuffed dog. The ceiling in the loft is LOW, but perfect for kids! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well-equipped and functional, ceiling fans and heating worked great, and the house was welcoming and cheery without the usual Tahoe kitch (no bear decor!!!). Our dogs loved hanging out on the couch and bed (with a nice cover to keep things clean) and the small gated patio was excellent for when they had to be outdoors. Michael (the owner) was very helpful during the rental process, playing phone tag with me until we connected. We'll definitely be back!"

  • open and spacious home!!!

"We just got home from staying 3 nights for new years in this home. What a beautiful place. The open floor plan allowed for us to cook, play pool and relax in the living room while all still being together. The house way comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was only a 10-15 minute drive (depending on traffic) to a stateline. The only negative I can possibly find is that the 3rd bedroom with the twin beds wereally not very comfortable but other than that this house was perfect for our stay and we would all stay again. Thank you Dede"

  • Perfect cabin!

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We visit Lake Tahoe often and wanted to try staying in a cabin for the first time. Many cabins are either old and impersonal, or too big for a small group (our group consisted of 2 people and a dog). The cabin has 2 levels; the top level has a low ceiling and would be ideal for 2-4 small children. The L-shaped sofa is very comfortable. We really loved the Franklin fireplace and the cozy ambience. Most importantly, it was very clean on our arrival. The small living room, kitchen, and dining area are interconnected so you feel like you are always with each other, which feels very cozy. The location is very close to Raley supermarket, Starbucks, Sprout Cafe, and other attractions of South Lake Tahoe. If people enjoy cooking gourmet meals, they should plan on bringing their own spices and condiments. Luckily it's very easy to run to the grocery store if you need anything late at night. The cabin was comfortable even when it was frigid outside. There was no snow when we came but we still enjoyed our getaway. It is off the main highway so it's very quiet at night. The shower was awesome! The hot water was constant and pressure was excellent. Hilary was very responsive to all of our questions during the booking process and after we checked out of the cabin. Thank you for letting us stay at the cabin- we highly recommend it to anyone and will be back!"
