  • Charming, cozy, delightful!

"We stayed in this cabin in mid-June with our 2-yr old son and our two small dogs. The cabin was quiet and peaceful, yet close to the commercial district and main road leading to the lake, and right across the street from a great pizza joint, so it was very convenient. It was surprisingly clean for being so dog-friendly! I wouldn't recommend it for families with a crawling baby (uneven staircase leading to the loft and not the cleanest living room carpet because of how dog-friendly the cabin is), but for two-year olds and up it was awesome - and for families with DOGS IT ROCKS! The loft was perfect for our son, he had a great time playing with the GIANT stuffed dog. The ceiling in the loft is LOW, but perfect for kids! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well-equipped and functional, ceiling fans and heating worked great, and the house was welcoming and cheery without the usual Tahoe kitch (no bear decor!!!). Our dogs loved hanging out on the couch and bed (with a nice cover to keep things clean) and the small gated patio was excellent for when they had to be outdoors. Michael (the owner) was very helpful during the rental process, playing phone tag with me until we connected. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Small cabin that has it all!

"My wife, daughter (4 yrs), and myself stayed in this lovely cabin for a short weekend in Tahoe. The cabin is small but has every amenity you could want; full kitchen, bathroom with a tub (perfect for kids), dishwasher, washing machine, gas wood burning stove that puts out serious heat, TV, and a comfy couch. The only tricky part that wasn't a problem for us is the stairs are narrow and steep and the bed is raised a good 4 feet off the floor. The best part of the cabin though is when you go outside. The location at the end of dead end street gives the cabin a lot of privacy with hiking trails directly out back that lead to some great views. Finally the hot tub on the deck tops it off…it worked perfectly and is so relaxing throughout the day. We lucked out and it snowed a couple of inches on Easter Sunday so we got the best of both worlds (jacuzzi on Saturday and snow men on Sunday). You are also close to town and stores/restaurants are 5-10 min away. I'd stay here again!"

  • open and spacious home!!!

"We just got home from staying 3 nights for new years in this home. What a beautiful place. The open floor plan allowed for us to cook, play pool and relax in the living room while all still being together. The house way comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was only a 10-15 minute drive (depending on traffic) to a stateline. The only negative I can possibly find is that the 3rd bedroom with the twin beds wereally not very comfortable but other than that this house was perfect for our stay and we would all stay again. Thank you Dede"
