Recent Lake Tahoe West Shore CA reviews

  • Wonderful small apartment cabin

"We loved this little apartment. Very quiet and comfortable. Its basically three rooms - one bedroom which also has the kitchen in it, a bathroom and the master bedroom. The owner lives upstairs and was very helpful and quiet. Everything in the apartment was great but what we really enjoyed was sitting outside amid the trees, the quiet, birds, chipmunks and ground squirrels running around which are very entertaining. Another plus is the location of the place which is mid way between Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe. The lake is about a 15 minute walk away. The path down there can be a bit difficult to find. You need to walk through the state park next door."

  • Awesome Cabin!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blackhawk lodge! The owners were very easy to work with, and the cabin was very cozy! Great location, walking distance to the lake and to bike trails, and a short drive away from town! We will definitely be renting here again!"

  • Awesome View

"Loved our stay in Lake Tahoe. The fishing trip was awesome (Tahoe Sport Fishing), the hiking fabulous - we did Vikingsholm and Eagle Falls trail. The house had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed out stay there. We would definitely do this again!"

  • Great Getaway for our Family!

"The Cozy Cabin was exactly that, and perfect for our little family of three. Our 2 year old son slept great upstairs in the provided pack & play and we loved the warm & cozy master bedroom downstairs. The location was perfect to get away, but close enough to sites like Tahoe City & Squaw Valley. West Coast Pizza was just down the street and delicious, we picked up snacks at the Tahoma Market and the proximity to the lake was great, too! Because of the rain, we enjoyed some of the old VHS & DVD movies, quite a selection! There were also lots of games to choose from and books if you wanted to read. The gas stove in the living room made it super comfy even when it was snowing outside. Pennie was great with her area information and very easy to work with! We would come back here!"
