"I just returned from a lovely week at the Marshall family home. My extended family selects a destination area each summer to spend time together and this was a perfect spot! The home is so well appointed with everything anyone might need and many things that are unexpected and very appreciated in a vacation rental. The location is conveniently located to both South Shore and popular West Shore activities and restaurants. After a full day hiking or swimming and kayaking out on the large dock on the lake, our evenings were spent around the dining room table playing board games or watching baseball. We enjoyed reading about the Marshall family and looking at the many family photos around the house. It is obvious that this is a special place, filled with lots of wonderful memories. Thank you for letting us add to that history."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 28, 2014View listing
"Our annual girls' getaway was a huge success, in large part due to this wonderful home we rented at Lake Tahoe. The views from the deck, along with the comfortable patio furniture encourages spending many enjoyable hours just soaking in the beauty of the lake. There was a well-stocked game cupboard, the beds were very comfortable and the wifi was a bonus. We took advantage of some of the local history by touring the Ehrman Mansion and Valhalla, hiked to balancing rock, and had a great dinner at The Beacon Bar and Grill. Our only word of advice would is to be sure everyone in your group can handle the stairs, and to bring everything you need for cooking; there are no basic ingredients, not even salt and pepper."Guest: Moannabelle Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 25, 2014View listing
"We had a lovely stay in the Cabin. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is very clean and well organized. The bedrooms are bigger than they look in the pictures provided as well. We will absolutely be coming back to stay. Easy walk to Chambers too!"Guest: Erin O. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 17, 2014View listing
