  • Comfortable retreat with great lake view

"My husband and another couple just spent three nights at this West Shore home. The location was perfect for some beautiful hikes, and the house was cozy and comfortable for relaxing on the day we had an early snow. The view from the living room and deck is stunning, and we loved looking at the changing clouds and light over the lake; on day two, the snow was a beautiful addition to the view. The hot tub was great and the kitchen well stocked. The two upstairs bedrooms were pleasant, with comfortable beds and nice linens, the only disadvantage being that the second bathroom is downstairs; the downstairs would be a good sleeping area for kids; the dining area was a bit cramped, but okay for the four of us. George was easy to communicate with and helpful in providing information we requested; all in all, a very good value; would definitely stay there again."

  • Cozy and Cabinlike

"Beautiful view of Meeks Bay. Easy walk down to the Lake. The place was clean and comfortable. The front porch was a great place to sit and view the lake. Would definitely book there again. The only challenge is the parking. If the owners are there, parking is very limited , ( 1 car, possibly 2 ).. An easy drive to Meeks Bay , where you can park and stay at the beach for $10 / day. Owner need to replace the antique gas grill however. It isn't expensive to get a new grill. The grill was only working on one side and had to be lit with a match thrown on the gas. Barely enough heat to cook a hotdog. Overall, a great place to go, especially if you grew up going to Meeks."

  • Great cabin for large group of friends!

"We stayed as a group of 14 young winter sports fanatics and enjoyed this cabin thoroughly. It's 30 min away from either Northstar or Heavenly ski resorts. Plenty of room for everybody, you can have a bunch of people in the hot tub, some more cooking within the highly practical kitchen area and yet some more playing games in one of the 2 large living areas, all at the same time. This cabin is spacious! Everything is in good shape, functional and well maintained. Plenty of parking space too, and the possibility of sitting everybody around the same table for a nice fondue... Owner is responsive and access is real easy. Highly recommended."

  • clean & comfortable

"We stayed a week in July 2014 and found the cabin to be clean, comfortable and relaxing. The owners were attentive to any needs and are very easy to work with. The owners have described the cabin here on vrbo exactly as you will find it. Look at the pics and read the description they have provided. Meeks bay is an easy 15 minute walk. The little homeowners beach and pier are just a couple minute walk, great for watching sunset after dinner. Our 2 young boys enjoyed running around outside and riding bikes up and down the quiet private road. We would stay here again."
