"We were lucky enough to stay at this cozy cabin during the summer. The pictures definitely don't do it justice- the furniture has all been upgraded & the house had a wonderful feel. There are several levels, so everyone felt like they had their own private retreat & then would gather on the main level for cooking, games & fun.
The views are amazing- so fun to sit out on one of the porches & sip a glass of wine. We went in the hot tub every night. It is in a great location- close to Sunnyside ,which has a great gated park & beach. It was also easy to get to the store & to enjoy a meal downtown. Finally, the beds were super comfy & luxurious.
It was the perfect space to relax & have a family vacation- a true gem & bargain!"

"The pictures don't really do this property justice. The view from the clean updated deck is fantastic, and the nearby trees provide just enough shade when you need it. Architecturally this is kind of like mid-century modern meets cozy rustic Tahoe. The master bedroom is on one side and the two smaller bedrooms on the other, separated by the large open living area in the middle with the kitchen facing the lake. The property is situated at the end of a large open cul-de-sac that backs into open forest with only a couple of neighboring homes. So if you have small children with bikes they can safely ride around and you have comfort in knowing there's no through traffic. The downhill walk or bike ride to Sunnyside, the Tahoe House or even Tahoe City is fun and simple. For return bike rides you'll probably want to just walk your bicycle back up the hill at the end, but my middle-aged legs managed it once or twice (with the right gear of course). There is some traffic noise from the main road below, so this is not a location if you want complete Alpine peace and seclusion. However, the view and conveniences more than drown out that imperfection. We'll be returning again for sure!"
