Never a bad stay...
"I've stayed here with my family and friends on several occasions. I'm always happy to see the upgrades and new additions to this beautiful cabin. The cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, that tucks it away in the woods. Neighbors are far enough away to allow you privacy. Yes, there is a guest house next door. I've never had a problem with any of the renters invading our space. We usually invite them over for a drink. I have not stayed in the guest house, but have seen the inside. Very cute and cozy... The main cabin provides 3 spacious bed rooms, a loft and a couch that pulls out into a bed. I think I've slept on all of them, and I can't complain. Super comfortable beds, flat screen tv in all rooms, always clean, fully stocked upgraded kitchen, and a beautiful now extended deck. I can't thank the owners enough for always maintaining the cabin and keeping up with upgrades. Love the new brown bear addition as you walk in. I never want to leave once I'm there. It's total and complete relaxation time for me..."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We had a great vacation on the west shores of Lake Tahoe and were very pleased with our selection of this property. The home was more than adequate, well away from the main drag and with comfortable rooms, lovely decor and quality furnishings that created a visually pleasing and relaxing environment. Everything was clean and in wonderful condition. We appreciated access to everything we needed to make ourselves feel right at home. We do recommend top-of-the-line toilet plungers in all of the bathrooms to manage the idiosyncrasies of the low flow toilets required in California, but other than that, we could not have been more pleased. In addition, the two people we interacted with at the rental office at the beginning and end of our stay were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Future renters will want to know that the property is not nearly as secluded or private as the photographs depict. While this did not deter our fun, we were surprised that there were houses within ten feet on both the north and south. No window coverings on the north side made it possible to become acquainted with the neighbors, whose saws and hammers were busy all but two of our eight day visit. We were gone most of the daylight hours, they were courteous about not starting their work before 7:00 am each morning, and it was a neighborhood setting, so we took it I stride. We would recommend the property to others - after the work next door is complete. Even though it was our first visit to Lake Tahoe, it didn't take long to figure out that the west shore was a great location, away from commercial distractions, close to state and national parks for hiking and sightseeing, and with just enough of a small town feel to leave our city lives behind. We came to understand why everyone smiled and told us how much we would end up loving Lake Tahoe. Now we're the ones with stories and smiles!"

"We had a perfect birthday weekend for my boyfriend in beautiful Tahoma! The cabin is adorable with lots of local charm and a great deck out back. The cabin was everything I would want out of a Tahoe property with all the amenities you could ever need. We did the Rubicon Trail and the location couldn't have been more perfect with it just down the road in the same neighborhood. Our host was incredibly accommodating through the whole process and very responsive. We can't wait to go back!"

"What a joy to stay at this property. I have been staying at rented properties for over 20 years all over the world and Patsy's Place was by far the most amazingly stocked place I have ever stayed. We arrived late at night with a daughter complaining about a cut and wanting a band aid. We were ready to search for a Pharmacy only to find 3 boxes of band aids in the cupboard....and so it continued: masses of laundry detergent, loads of extra towels and bed linens, ziplock baggies, huge containers of shampoo, oils and spices, bundt pans (if you love to cook you will find what you want!), games, dvds and so much more. Beyond buying food we did not need anything else. You will want for virtually nothing if you stay here. Lovely location at end of the road next to the State Park. We also thought it was ideal for Lake Tahoe in general.....we did many amazing hikes and Tahoma was equidistant from them all as well as being 15 minutes from Tahoe City for supermarket etc so a great central base.
This is a holiday rental that feels like a home. If I bought it today for my family vacation getaway I wouldn't change a thing. Just a joy from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. I would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone and we will be back if we get another chance. Thank you for a lovely holiday base."
