  • Must See !

"My family and I were a little weary being that the last cabin we stayed in August was a hot mess. It had 5 stars but was nothing more then a 2 star. Looking for weeks I discovered your cabin. Reading all the reviews it was apparent there were many that were 5 stars we decided to book. I have to tell you my family and I were pleasantly surprised just pulling into the driveway. The exterior was very well maintained with a large property. Walking into the cabin took our breath away. The interior was very clean. The cabin is up to date and the furniture was very clean. It looked like it belonged in a magazine. The kitchen is beautiful, it was stocked with anything and everything you could need. The laundry room was large with a front loading washer and dryer that made our trip very convenient. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were one of the most conformable beds we have been in. I met family from California there for a wedding. They stopped by to meet us to go snow boarding, they couldn't believe their eyes. I would highly recommend this cabin. If I ever make it back to Tahoe I know where we will be staying."

  • Great vacation getaway.

"This property is as described plus. The kitchen is equipped with any appliance and gadget you might need. There are plenty of games and movies to keep you entertained. There is a great private deck. I can't think of anything you might need or want that is not there."

  • Great cabin, but futon very unconfortable

"We really enjoyed this beautiful cabin and the little neighborhood of Tahoma. The cabin had a great feel, was clean, and fulfilled nearly all our expectations. The only negative was the futon in the second bedroom. It was of very low quality and was unsuitable for an adult to sleep on. Otherwise, fantastic."

  • A very nice house with a couple of caveats

"We have been renting houses annually in the area for more years than I can remember so we know what we want in a rental home. The house is in a nice quiet location. There was sufficient parking for five cars. When we arrived it was clean which I can't always say is the case for other houses we have rented. The kitchen is very nice above average quality appliances. It had a good variety of utensils and gadgets. The non-stick pots and pans are of good quality and not scratched which was refreshing to find. It has a good knife set so I didn't have to use the one I brought. The kitchen/dining/living room area forms one great room which is where our extended family spent most of their time. There were plenty of bar stools and seating around the dining table to accommodate our group of 7 adults and 5 kids at meal times. The living room area could have used another chair but we brought one in from the master bedroom. The master bedroom is upstairs and it's huge. A nice feature was a long table and chair with a lamp. If you need more than three plugs for your electronic gear you should bring a power strip. It is good place to escape to when the grandkids get to loud. The other two bedrooms and the rec room were small but adequate. A plus was the expendables like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc. were supplied. Now for the caveats. The queen bedroom didn't have a true dresser and lacked sufficient drawer space. The drawers in the master bedroom dresser were all difficult to open and close and it is in need of repair or replacement. The closet in the master bedroom was a postage stamp. It had at most 36" of hanging space because what is probably a nice walk in closet had been partitioned off by the owners. To get to the hooks behind the door you had to squeeze into the closet and then close the door enough to get behind it. While annoying it was sufficient for our needs. Overall our family enjoyed their stay. We won't be back only because we are looking for more bedrooms next year."
