"This house was just what we needed for our young family and dog to take a ski vacation. Great open plan living, dining, kitchen area meant we could all hang out with the big stone fireplace and talk, play games, cook, watch videos. Well equipped with relaxed furnishings so we we could let our dog, 3 year old, and 6 year old feel at home. 3 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us plenty of room. We had a great time going on snow walks in the neighborhood, sledding at Granlibakken, walking the lake in Tahoe City, and first kids' ski school (and time for parent skiing) at Squaw."

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It has the most amazing view of the lake. Beautiful sunrise in the morning!. Spent most of our time on the deck. Enjoyed walking to Sugar Pine, PDQ market, pizza and the beach! Would definitely come back again!! Thanks for a great week!"

Quiet Respite with Beautiful Views during Shoulder Seasons
"I enjoy the May Ah Mee Lodge during off-season, when it's quieter and stunningly beautiful. The Lake is low this year, so there's a big beach for making rock art and perfect pinecones to collect. Seems like the sun rises earlier here than at home, peeking over the purple-black Sierras and reflecting off the wide expanse of shimmering water. I enjoyed a cup of morning coffee on the pier, with only the sound of small lapping waves and wind in the trees. I love this place."

"This is a sweet, thoughtfully decorated and well-appointed lake cabin, ideally suited for a couple or two couples, or a small family. It's all warm wood and American Indian rugs, a perfect place for quiet reading. It's got a lovely outdoor deck and table, and even a badminton court! Old-world charm just blocks away from Tahoma grocery Store, Sugar Pine Beach and Chamber's Landing. Owners very responsive and accommodating."
