"The Chalet oozes charm and is beautifully decorated in the Provencal style. Corinne is the perfect host and her home is completely stocked with everything you could possibly want. The welcome wine/flowers are a lovely touch. The manicured lawn is beautiful and we enjoyed all our meals outside on the front patio. It was a great way to meet neighbors and dogs on their walks. The PDQ market nearby was really convenient. We loved the trails and beach at Sugar Pine Point and relaxing afterward in the fabulous hot tub. Our week at the Chalet couldn't have been better. Thanks, Corinne!"

"My wife and I stayed here for a Labor Day weekend getaway. We really enjoyed our stay and found that the cabin was equipped with most of what we needed. The cabin is well kept and very clean. The only downfall is that you do have to bring your own bed linens and towels so if you're traveling that's extra baggage. The cabin is very dark inside as the lighting is pretty outdated, but there are windows that can be opened to let natural light in. We were very impressed that the cabin has both cable tv and free wifi. The location of the cabin is outstanding as it is very close to several great hiking trails, Vikingsholm, Emerald Bay, Heavenly, and Squaw Valley. Overall, this was a great place to stay!"

"We stayed for 10 days at the Tahoma cabin and it was our third year with 3 generations staying in the area. This cabin was great for our two grandchildren 3 and 1+. We could close off the stairs with the gate provided and the carpeting made it quieter and warmer. Big plus having the high chair also. Daughter brought noise machines for bedrooms so kids could go to sleep and adults could stay up and play games and be loud without waking them up - Big Plus! The jacuzzi was nice for the kids and their parents. Close to Chambers Landing, obexters to launch boat, PDQ for groceries and treats for grandchildren. Meeks bay a short drive away, as well as Tahoe City the other way. We cooked almost all meals in and there was plenty of kitchen ware to do so! The patio/deck was very nice to sit at and the cabin was very roomy. Although we brought a lot of our own there were lots of games movies etc. Joyce is very nice and easy to work with and we would definitely come back and recommend to others!"
