  • A "sweet" and awesome cabin!

"After over 30 years of renting summer cabins in Tahoe, the Sweetwater cabin is the nicest cabin we've stayed in. The cabin is super comfortable, and has all the amenities you can hope for, including a fantastic kitchen which is well equipped for all your culinary needs. The Cabin has two big decks, so you can be sure to find a sunny spot at various times of day. The views were incredible, so be prepared to take some great photos, especially at sunrise! The location of the cabin is halfway between Tahoe City and South Shore. There are several great beaches nearby: Meeks Bay, Bliss and Emerald Bay. Dana was great to work with, and she was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this great cabin!"

  • Oozing with charm, great location, you can leave the car in the driveway for days!

"We loved the cabin and would definitely go again. The heat is cozy and hot water is great, kitchen has everything. Everything was very clean and the owner super responsive and caring. Our family were comfortable with the three bedrooms, all the beds were great. Watched a movie on the giant tv-very nice. Loved the quiet of the area. I think I'll always seek out the west side from now on. One of my favorite things was the Tahoe State Recreation area about a block away for wonderful hikes that you can walk to. We hiked mostly since snow was so low but then there are ski areas nearby, and the lake is very close-we went for a sunrise. If you love the lake and don't want to spend all your time driving to things, this is a great location."

  • Excellent Luxury Cabin

"Wow, wow, wow!! Just came back from a wonderful stay at what I can best describe as a luxury cabin - feels like you're staying in the woods among nature, yet everything is top-notch luxury...amazing view of lake, it was so nice waking up each morning to that beautiful view through the extra large windows... well stocked home with very high quality everything, including: towels, hand soap, toilet tissue, mattresses, home finishes, furniture, kitchen, etc. all high-end brands... We were a group of 10, but never ran out of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, mugs, plates, utensils, etc. We loved the layout, 2 stories was perfect, only 1 set of stairs, dressers in each room, location is private (no neighbors close by), and less than a minute drive down the hill to the lake, etc...Indoor ping pong table was great... Home was very clean, instructions provided for operating everything... and just felt like the owners took care of the home well. The location on the west shore was great as well, we were able to explore both north and south parts of lake Tahoe easily... Matt from prop. mngt company Tahoe Luxury Prop. was great to deal with, answered (many) questions quickly and willingly, and mngt company was overall great, early check in, late check out, and all other requests were handled swiftly and professionally. Would definitely rent this place again. Thank you for sharing your home!!"

  • family gathering

"This immaculate, spacious home is a perfect combo of sophistication and warmth. The kitchen is a dream, and each bedroom is lovely and inviting. The double size yard is fun for sledding and hiking. We walked and sometimes road bikes to the beach. Whether 2 or 3 couples want to relax, or a big family wants to host a reunion, we have enjoyed this retreat both ways."
