Lovely home in perfect location
"This was our third stay here and we would not stay anywhere else. The owners are lovely and very accommodating to plans etc. The house itself if cosy yet spacious, the kitchen is fantastic, loads of bench space and every appliance you could ever want. The sofas are so comfy, the deck is fabulous and with all the windows upstairs it is much brighter than other places we have stayed. We hope to return again next year! Thanks so much."

"This cabin fulfills all your vacation needs for all seasons. My family has stayed here many many times, never to be disappointed. The location is great, a few blocks from the lake and private beach, pool and tennis courts. The owners are very accommodating in every aspect. Chambers Landing is a wonderful place to sit out on the boat deck and watch the world go by. Also, the deck at the cabin is soothing and peaceful among the pines, with lounges and a BBQ grill."

Great house, ideal location for both the active and inactive!
"We could not have been more pleased with our stay at your “cabin”. The accommodations were perfect for the six of us - my wife, son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons, ages 17 and 20, both well over 6’. Because of the excellent kitchen facilities and barbeque, we hosted an after wedding dinner for our other son, his new wife and family and friends. The ability to grill and enjoy a beautiful Tahoe evening under the stars on the generous decks was an unexpected benefit. Access to grocery shopping in Tahoe City (and golf), good restaurants in the area and the attraction of Squaw Valley combined with the privacy of a quiet neighborhood made for a delightful week."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We had a great vacation on the west shores of Lake Tahoe and were very pleased with our selection of this property. The home was more than adequate, well away from the main drag and with comfortable rooms, lovely decor and quality furnishings that created a visually pleasing and relaxing environment. Everything was clean and in wonderful condition. We appreciated access to everything we needed to make ourselves feel right at home. We do recommend top-of-the-line toilet plungers in all of the bathrooms to manage the idiosyncrasies of the low flow toilets required in California, but other than that, we could not have been more pleased. In addition, the two people we interacted with at the rental office at the beginning and end of our stay were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Future renters will want to know that the property is not nearly as secluded or private as the photographs depict. While this did not deter our fun, we were surprised that there were houses within ten feet on both the north and south. No window coverings on the north side made it possible to become acquainted with the neighbors, whose saws and hammers were busy all but two of our eight day visit. We were gone most of the daylight hours, they were courteous about not starting their work before 7:00 am each morning, and it was a neighborhood setting, so we took it I stride. We would recommend the property to others - after the work next door is complete. Even though it was our first visit to Lake Tahoe, it didn't take long to figure out that the west shore was a great location, away from commercial distractions, close to state and national parks for hiking and sightseeing, and with just enough of a small town feel to leave our city lives behind. We came to understand why everyone smiled and told us how much we would end up loving Lake Tahoe. Now we're the ones with stories and smiles!"
