"Venice Beach Bungalows provided the perfect week and house for us to stay in preparation for our son's wedding. Traveling across country (with a big family) for a destination wedding we needed accommodations that would serve as home as well as a vacation paradise. Thank you Mike from Venice Beach Bungalows! The house was amazing, clean, perfect location and accommodated all of our needs and more! Described as listed and better! Steps from the beach and Venice Promenade. This rental provided all with the best of Venice Beach. Close to Abbott Kinney, stores, Santa Monica and Universal we were able to relax, site see as well as come home to a gorgeous roof top deck as we watched the sunset over the ocean night after night. Suited a large family perfectly! Everything about this property fit our needs! restaurants, coffee cafe's, food stores and more. Minutes to Culver City, Santa Monica as well as a short drive to Universal and Disney. Mike was amazing! He made sure that the property would accommodate what we were looking for and stayed in touch to make sure we had every bit of info regarding our rental. Perfect and professional! Highly recommend Venice Beach Bungalows for the perfect vacation properties! Will definitely work with Mike again next time we go to CA! Thank you Mike!!!"

"My wife and i needed a few days in the sun but did not want the hassle of car hire so short taxi ride from LAX and plenty of places to walk to were our main aim. This rental fitted our needs perfectly, it was just like home only smaller of course. Frank and Sandy's hospitality was great and we had everything we needed in the suite for our few days in the sun. We walked many miles up and down the beach and found many places to eat and drink and never once felt we needed a car. The location was nice and quiet and the bed was so comfy after a days walking we wanted to take it home with us."

"We loved staying at The Standard. It is nicely restored, very vintage, fun and comfortable. The neighborhood is a lovely, upscale older neighborhood that is fun to walk through and very close to the Norton Simon Museum and the Old Pasadena shops and restaurants. The location is great, as it is easy to get to just about anywhere if you have "non-commute time" traffic, and Pasadena is on the metro light-rail line. Also, it is fairly close to a Whole Foods, which is important if you need a picnic for the Hollywood Bowl. And the Hollywood Bowl has a shuttle bus from Pasadena, so that works perfectly too! Overall, we loved it and felt like we had the classic vintage Southern California experience. We want to go back next year, as there is so much to do we couldn't possibly do it in 4 days."

"Nice and charming house full of character with a beautiful garden and right at the heart of Venice Beach, which makes it very convenient for beach or outside evenings. Next to bus stop for the ones who do not wish to drive and contrarily to what is spread, buses run pretty well. Nice atmosphere and the owners are kind and ready to help. I do recommend the place that is a great change from impersonal business like letting."
