  • Best. Cabin. Ever.

"Thank you so much for another wonderful stay! We have stayed at this lovely cabin more than once and keep coming back. The cabin keeps getting better and better. Very clean, and lots of new items added each time we stay. We so much enjoyed the open space attached to the cabin that is now available for guests to use. We had a picnic there and played horseshoes! And, of course, the setting can't be beat--private and quiet and beautiful. We recommend this cabin without any hesitation. The owner is delightful and very helpful. She does all she can to make your stay a special one. I promise that you will not be disappointed."

  • Magical Spot

"We rented this Villa to share with our family for our son's graduation weekend. We are so glad that we did!! Weeks later, we still enjoy thinking about this home. There was room for everyone to enjoy the space. We had a family celebration dinner together which was easy to host. The Villa has an easy flow to it, each room leading to the next with lots of Art to discover and architectural detail to enjoy. It is relaxed and elegant at the same time. The pool is a pleasure to lounge around and lots of fun for the children to play in. The old Hollywood vibe has been maintained in this magical spot. We highly recommend this Villa especially if you appreciate Art, Literature, Film and the Creative Spirit. The history of this home and the detail of its decor is an adventure in itself. The owners and housekeeper of this property added a much appreciated warmth to our stay."

  • Spring Break Special!!!

"Definitely recommend and would rent again when visiting Catalina. The manager Susan was very accommodating and helpful with request on reservations, pricing was perfect and very affordable for a 4days/3nights stay. I booked the house for my daughter and her girlfriends to celebrate both her birthday and enjoy their spring break mini getaway. It turned out to be just about perfect for them and Susan was so helpful and even gave the girls a spring break special an extra night stay at no additional charge. Location was very easy for them to find and was walking distance from everything they wanted to do. The house was clean, cozy and just the right size with the comforts of home. Thank you so much for accommodating them I know it’s hard to really know if you should rent to unsupervised teens…they really enjoyed their stay on the island. Honestly, I would have given a five star rating but they mentioned that there was no toilet paper and had to go out and purchase a package for their stay, they also thought the lighting throughout the house was too dim and felt spooked at night (maybe the light bulbs should be changed to slightly higher wattage) other than that they said it was AMAZING!!!"

  • Great vacation home!

"I, too, was surprised at how much we liked this home. Updated throughout. Everything clean and comfortable. Great showers, comfortable beds, good wireless. Nice kitchen (we never cooked, so I can't speak to how well-equipped it was). The TV room in the back was great -- gave us two living spaces to spread out. The front yard does not show on the photos -- a nice little retreat. Neighborhood was lovely -- cute French market nearby. Lots of shops and restaurants on Abbott-Kinney. Easy access to Marina Del Rey, and major streets and highways. Very convenient to LAX. We did have to drive to the beach. You could walk there if you're taking a leisurely stroll, but if you're taking towels, etc., it's just a little too far. But it's a straight shot up Wash Blvd., and beach parking was easy. House parking was on the street and we only had a small prob with that one night (Friday). And we often had two cars. We had a great time and would return."
