  • Sensational Venetian experience!

"We had a fantastic stay at the Frank Gehry Beach House - an architectural treasure in the heart of Venice. An open, exciting floor plan, expansive deck and charming patio. Completely private but a short walk or bike ride away from all that is Venice - as well as the Marina peninsula and beaches. A wonderful way to experience authentic L.A."

  • Amazing getaway so close to LA!

"Recently stayed here for two nights and had the most romantic time. Beautiful and quiet area tucked into the mountains. Feels like a private neighborhood! The cabin is gorgeous and you can tell right away that a ton of heart has been put into it. All the amenities you will need are there and readily available. Wonderful instructions posted throughout the cabin make the stay more than welcoming and easy to navigate. Honestly, I wish I could escape here every week!"

  • One of our best family vacations ever

"We like nice things, but we also have a family and wanted something down-to-earth and comfortable. This experience delivered on both counts. When you step onto the property you are greeted with that woodsy, chaparral scent that is so prevalent in the california mountains. In the evenings you will hear a symphony of crickets because the home is surrounded by natural beauty. With two swings and a wide open layout, the back yard is perfect for little ones, but the outdoor entertaining area is ideal for grown-up time-- barbecuing, sipping wine, and long relaxing dinners. The front yard is also enclosed, and we were very taken with the charming neighborhood. Inside it is very clean. There are comfortable rooms and beautiful decor, with an overall energy that felt very warm and positive. The nearby restaurants are great, and the local gourmet grocery store was perfect for getting food for the wonderful meals we had out on the patio. It is within driving distance of some areas perfect for outdoor exploration, but we actually loved being in the house and getting in lots of relaxation. The owner is super friendly and accessible when needed for questions, although we didn't have many as she will leave yo detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. She even asked us our children's ages and left out age-appropriate toys for them to play with. We would love the chance to come back next time we vacation in Malibu."

  • This apartment is a jewel and Alex is the best host ever!

"First time to LA and staying here helped make it a perfect vacation! You can't ask for a better location, especially for the price. The place is clean and the accommodations are very comfortable. It's promoted as 1 BR, but essentially has two. Lots of closet space and you have more room than a hotel, plus an adorable kitchen. We ate in almost every morning for breakfast and prepared several dinners - the kitchen is well equipped and if you need anything just contact Alex. I can't say enough wonderful things about the host - he is an excellent communicator, responds quickly via email or phone, and truly wants your stay to be the best! Again, it's a perfect location in Hollywood. The neighborhood is quaint and safe - we walked all over the place. We bought our groceries at Ralph's and enjoyed the Hollywood Farmer's Market on Sunday morning. So many delicious items - a fun way to spend your Sunday morning! We loved Javista Organic Coffee Bar on W Sunset Blvd just two blocks away - fabulous coffee and sandwiches and excellent staff. You are walking distance to Hollywood Blvd and all that goes on there - so much history - a must since you're in Hollywood! We hiked Runyon Canyon Park - great work out and spectacular view! We also hiked Griffith Park - their Observatory is also a must. We drove to Getty Museum - absolutely stunning - another must during a trip to LA. We enjoyed two beach days - Santa Monica and another day rode bikes from Venice Beach past Santa Monica and back. I am a huge Chris Hardwick fan so I was pleased with myself when I got us free tickets online to be in his audience for his show on Comedy Central, @ Midnight. Very cool experience! There are many shows that need audience members and offer free tickets. Jimmy Kimmel is directly across from the Chinese Grauman Theatre and offers free tickets, too. This place is a jewel and Alex is the best host. Can't wait to visit again!"
