  • Great!

"We arrived later in the evening and Richard, the owner, had gratefully left the door unlocked for our access. He was amazing, always responsive to any inquiries or needs. The house is terrific, centrally located to all attractions, restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, in a nice little neighborhood of well maintained homes, we were 6 all together in our family and despite only one bathroom it worked perfectly. Rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable with clean fresh linens. Wifi internet and cable TV easily accessible. The kitchen was well-equipped. A spa is present out back, clean and well maintained, just be careful not to set the skimmer on top of the spa heater...oops it melted. There is off street parking with the driveway accommodating 2 cars. The driveway is also electronically gated for security. Beware overnight street parking, it's illegal and a $70 ticket. A washer/dryer is on premises, but not readily available, although we didn't need to utilize for our short stay. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. This locale is perfect for exploring all that LA and surroundings have to offer. Highly recommend. Looking forward to staying here on our next trip to LA."

  • wonderful WeHO rental property!

"My husband and I stayed in California Sweet for a full week in late March 2015 and we enjoyed it very much. This studio has a great kitchen and a quiet patio and deck. The apartment is clean and tastefully appointed. The neighborhood is relatively pedestrian friendly--with a large grocery store and restaurants nearby. For a major city, it was pretty quiet, too. Gina, the property manager, is a true professional."

  • Cool place with a 1950's theme

"My wife and I spent three wonderful days at this very nice cottage. It was a good size for us and a perfect location. We were in L. A. to visit our grandson who is currently being treated at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. The cottage is less than a mile away from the hospital, so we were able to walk there each day. It is located on the side of a hill and so to get there you have to walk down a staircase that covers two stories. If you can make that trip, the experience is well worth the climb. The cottage itself is indeed “adorable”. Robin and Tim have been able to preserve a 1950’s feel, yet it has been thoroughly updated inside. The bathroom and kitchen are in great shape and have everything you need. Two of the three nights we fixed dinner at the cottage. One night we ate outside on the small patio in front of the cottage. Very nice experience. Robin and Tim are great hosts. During our stay both of them went out of their way to come by and check in on us to make sure we were comfortable in their place. Robin was particularly helpful setting up the reservation and provided useful information about the area and how to get there. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone, especially those visiting the Children’s Hospital and the Kaiser Hospital located nearby."

  • Perfect Location!!!

"We stayed in this lovely Santa Monica home for Memorial Day week for a family reunion and college graduation. We were greeted by the owner with a bottle of red wine and a home baked banana nut cake, (which was delicious). Our party of 7 found the home to be really well prepared and filled with all the supplies we needed for great barbeques and an even better stay. Everyone had a lot of space and four of the 5 bedrooms had its own bathroom, so there was never anyone who had to wait. The house is large and there were rooms we didn't even need to use. The kitchen has every amenity and cooking supply you could want, even the spices and condiments were at our disposal, as well as dish and laundry soap, trash bags and starter tissue. The house is an authentic California Spanish with a gorgeous kitchen renovated in that style. There is even a charming antique mahogany telephone booth room! The master bedroom and bathroom are enormous. Since there was only one couple in our group, it was good to have the ability to separate the trundles into separate beds for the single people, though there is a large bedroom downstairs with a queen sized bed good enough for two also. We really loved this house and all the outdoor space. I am happy to recommend this home and for sure will put my family and out of town friends here again in the future. Not only do we have great things to say about the property, but the owner as well. The owner is one of the most honest, selfless and humble people we've ever encountered!"
