  • Long Beach stay visiting family

"Beautiful private property. We were visiting family who live in Long Beach, this was a perfect rental for the month we were there. Walking distance to everything we needed. Short walk to 2nd street and all the restaurants and shopping. Located on the canal system of Naples where we took a wonderful boat ride on the canals. Short walk to the beach. Parking no problem at all. Short drive on PCH to many other beautiful Beach towns and LA. We recommend this property highly. Thanks to Bob the property manager for all your help and hospitality."

  • Relaxed and stylish beach feel

"Our family of 4 just had 5 nights in this gorgeous rental and loved everything about it. It has been newly renovated throughout and is incredibly clean, comfortable and stylish in a laidback, relaxed beach style. Spacious living areas and bedrooms, with access to a great outdoor area amongst a landscaped, native garden. The house has two full bedrooms with really comfortable beds and great linens and loads of extra blankets etc. There is a study (not a third bedroom) with a fold out futon-style mattress available that even my 11 year old would not sleep on ... so I don't think an adult would find it comfortable. A full kitchen with everything you need (including basic supplies), plus a washing machine and dryer (with laundry detergent supplied). Excellent location, only a 5 minute flat walk to Abbot Kinney Boulevard with funky restaurants, shops etc (head to Intelligentsia for great coffee) .... then another 5 minutes to the middle of Venice Beach. With a family, I felt more comfortable staying this distance from the beach and the colourful characters that inhabit it! We always found street parking out the front and enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood. The property managers made it very easy and met us at the house with the keys when we arrived from the airport, and when we were leaving. I would highly recommend this property and the photos on this website are 100% accurate. The map however needs to be adjusted as it is completely incorrect!"

  • Great Rental!

"We are a family of four with two kids under 4. This was a wonderful rental for our family. The location was perfection. The house had plenty of room for our family and was relatively quiet. The house was fairly clean. The beach had a swing set on the beach just to the left of the house. The kids enjoyed that. The kitchen had upgraded appliance and granite counter tops. We were pleasantly surprised, as the kitchen pictures did not show much detail. The house did not have a formal table to sit and eat for four but the counter was suitable for meals. (We brought a booster with a belt to secure our 2 year old). Our guests were able to use the two-person table, which could be converted to a dining table with the addition of two more chairs (not provided). The kitchen was moderately equipped but had enough to handle most meals. The stairs leading up to the second floor were not kid friendly. They are steep and curve up. We brought a very sturdy baby gate with us (it did not fit at the base of the stairs due to the molding on the stairs but did at the top of the second floor) but purchased another cheep one to keep the kids clear of the stairs. Once secure this was not an issue at all. Someone with mobility issues may find it challenging to navigate the stairs on a daily basis. The bedrooms upstairs were bigger than expected and fit our family well. They would easily accommodate a much bigger family. The smaller of the two had a nice size trundle bed and the bigger bedroom had two larger size twin beds with plenty of floor space to spare. Linens were clean and comfortable. These two bedrooms had an adjoining bathroom. The master bedroom was beautiful and comfortable. The master has no shades on any of the windows and had no door for privacy. We thought this may be an issue but it was easily forgotten after we woke to the amazing view! The best part of our day was waking to ocean! One morning we even saw a school of dolphins swim by. The Garage accommodated one large car. We have a sizable SUV and parked with no issues. Although we did not use any of the bikes in the garage they could easily accommodate a large family with kids. We got the chance to fly the kite in the garage one day that was fun! You certainly pay for location with this house and feel the weekly price is worth what you get. Especially given the extra main floor bedroom. We would certainly consider renting this house again!"

  • What an amazing place!

"I recently toured Canada and the US with my Rugby team. We stayed with Chef Phil for the final 3 nights of our tour and we were absolutely amazed. From the moment we pulled up in the driveway we were in awe! The view is unbeatable stretching from the beaches to the mountains. Every need was catered for by Chef Phil, Tanya and Rosa. The food was outstanding and the friendly service even better. We did not have to lift a finger. With a heated pool, BBQ, tanning bed, outdoor fridge, musical instruments, bar, snooker table and much more you will never get bored! Everything you could want to do in LA is at your doorstep with a short cab ride (about $10) to Sunset strip and Santa Monica Blvd. Whether you are travelling with a big group looking to party (like us) or a family group looking for somewhere to relax, this is the place for you. We can not wait to get back to LA to spend some more time with Phil and the girls!"
