Great house, plan to return
"Cannot say enough good things about our experience and this house. Keith (owner) met us at property and made sure we were ok with everything. House and property were in terrific shape--one of the only times I can remember where the house looks the same (or better) than the pictures. Easy access to nearby beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket, etc. Open floorpan, great outdoor areas with fire pit, hot tub and tiered lawns that are perfect for kids/dogs. Planning to visit again and will enthusiastically recommend to family/friends."

"I rented this house to accommodate some family and friends during the weekend wedding of my son. Not only was this place intrinsically the perfect weekend getaway , in this instance it was also the perfect peaceful retreat to escape to in-between the fun, but often hectic events involved in a very busy weekend wedding. Just sitting on the deck watching Mother Nature choreograph the perfect dance of wind, wave, pelicans in flight and sunset or sunrise lighting was enough to relax and calm (with or without a glass of wine in hand) a happy , but at time, stressed mother of the groom! We even saw whales, dolphin and sea lion.
The house was very well equipped with all you would need for a stay at the beach, including beach towels, chairs, bogey-boards, kids beach toys. The kitchen and bedrooms were equally well appointed with all you need. Some of the best sleeping around, with the ocean waves to help you nod off.
And, Chris, the owner, was available at all times. Though I didn't need to call him at all during the stay, prior to, when I had some questions he answered his phone always and was extremely helpful, a pleasure to do business with! The day I returned home I received a call from him to let me know that I had accidentally left a pair of earrings there (a fav) and would I like him to sent them to me! I texted him my address and a couple of hours later he texted back that they were on their way. AND he was in the throws of getting ready to leave for a trip to Spain the very next day!
I have done a fair number of vacation rentals and this experience was by far the very best in all ways!! Thank you Chris"

I just spent three very enjoyable nights at Mike and Susan's house with my 4 kids.....
"The place is amazing. It is a very windy intimidating drive up the hills to reach the house but well worth the drive. Plenty of room for all of us and plenty to see and do. We went down to the beach every day and hiked up the mountain too. Neptune's Nest is very cool and right at the Pacific Coast Highway...Malibu Seafood is just a bit further south...close to Zuma Beach...Both places were very good. The highlight though was the day we spent with Mike and Susan trying to learn to surf. Great hosts!"

"We are Malibuites who desired a two week "homestead" on the beach with our college kids while they were home for the summer. The owner of this unit was very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. She went out of her way to make it easy for us. This condo complex has a nice pool and deck area with plenty of sun and shade. The location on the beach could not be more perfect. It is a short walk on "Billionaire Beach" (or when the tide is high on the street) to the two most beautiful restaurant and outdoor deck experiences in Malibu (Nobu and Nikita) and to the charming Malibu Pier which itself boasts two restaurants. One strolls on the beach past multi-million dollar homes over white sands and next to cerulean blue waters. The parking spot that accompanies the unit is critical since parking on PCH is almost impossible. As locals, we were able to enjoy our home community in an entirely different way than the one we typically experience living on the land-side of PCH. It was hassle-free and so we visited the beach and the above restaurants far more often. One can always hear the waves from the unit itself and there is a peek-a-boo ocean view from a small deck on the side of the unit. The furnishings are modest but clean and comfortable and the unit has everything from towels to shatter-free glasses to make slipping into beach-living an easy proposition. We hope to visit again and we recommend this unit to everyone."
