  • Absolutely LOVED our stay!

"What a fabulous home! We've been renting Malibu beach homes for the past 6 or 7 years. While all of them have been lovely (after all, staying for a week on the beach in Malibu...it seriously doesn't get much better than that!), this one is our absolute favorite. First of all, it is really a beautiful home. Yes, drop-dead gorgeous ocean views from the moment you enter the gate and leave the bustle of the real world behind. The furnishings are wonderful...definitely a huge step above what you would find in most rentals. It's the kind of home you walk into and wonder who their interior designer was. It is just beautifully done. What I most appreciated we're all those little touches that put it a step above...fresh orchids...down pillows...and such a fabulous kitchen that we ended up enjoying most of our meals right there. The location is great. A short drive into Santa Monica...a short drive to Cross Creek. But honestly, once you close the gate and you're in the hypnotic spell of the ocean, you won't want to leave. Yes, Nobu looked wonderful, but we just so loved being in this gracious home. Another nice touch...the outside plants are lush and lovely. Such a wonderful treat to have the outside of the home as gorgeous as the inside. A special note of HUGE appreciation to Martin and his management team. Every need we had was answered and fulfilled. But, since the home was so superbly stocked with everything, we really were in great shape. If you plan on entertaining, I can't think of a better set-up. The deck area is expansive and gorgeous. We hope to come back when it's warmer and spend our evenings enjoying the magnificent outdoor fireplace and seating area. It truly is a fantastic set-up. Yes, we loved the house. What a great vacation!"

  • Perfect vacation

"Recently spent 10 days at Waverly Green visiting family in So. Pas. The apartment was wonderful-clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and well stocked. The back yard/patio area was a delightful place for quiet reading and/or socializing. Location was ideal as one could walk to Old Town in Pasadena with it's museum, restaurants and retail stores. John was very pleasant but little to do as there were no problems. Looking forward to visiting again next year."

  • Spectacular LA Harbor View

"My husband and I spent a very enjoyable month of Feb. here. Coming from the Midwest, the weather couldn't be beat. The townhouse was a nice place to stay, and for the monthly rate, the price was wonderful. You don't get these many accommodations in a hotel room! This was our first experience with VRBO, and will definitely do it again. Roya was very easy to work with, and once we got to Calif., she returned phone calls almost immediately for any questions we might have had. The master bed was very comfortable, with a walk-in closet large enough to not only hold our clothes, but our unpacked large suitcases. We were able to host a dinner party with relatives for 10 people....big table, plenty of dishes & silverware (much more than what is listed), cooking pots and pans. Roya even accommodated my request for a crockpot! There are a lot of steps here, and that was a little tough hauling in our stuff when we arrived, and grocery shopping. But this is how you get the spectacular view! We did need to move a reading lamp from the bedroom downstairs to living room upstairs so I could read. Dishwasher is older, and we had to rinse dishes well or they didn't get clean. San Pedro is an older seaport town, and we enjoyed taking daily walks along the water. Go to Raffaello's Italian Ristorante .. we went back 3 times, one time taking relatives! Great Thai food is on 25th St. across from Albertson's. A very nice Farmer's Market in Torrance every Tuesday & Saturday. We went on Tuesday...Saturdays are very busy. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and enjoyed our stay very much in this town home."
