  • Magical Spot

"We rented this Villa to share with our family for our son's graduation weekend. We are so glad that we did!! Weeks later, we still enjoy thinking about this home. There was room for everyone to enjoy the space. We had a family celebration dinner together which was easy to host. The Villa has an easy flow to it, each room leading to the next with lots of Art to discover and architectural detail to enjoy. It is relaxed and elegant at the same time. The pool is a pleasure to lounge around and lots of fun for the children to play in. The old Hollywood vibe has been maintained in this magical spot. We highly recommend this Villa especially if you appreciate Art, Literature, Film and the Creative Spirit. The history of this home and the detail of its decor is an adventure in itself. The owners and housekeeper of this property added a much appreciated warmth to our stay."

  • By Far The Best Birthday Experience Getaway

"Words cannot justify the experience i had while staying at this beach house. The idea of a California coast getaway exists and it begins in Hermosa beach. The soothing waves that crash while you fall asleep are enough information to express the distance from the ocean. Adventure and entertainment is at arms reach, should you feel shy from stretching, Bibi will go beyond accommodations to fulfill your touristic curiosities. Her advice and knowledge of the city puts any internet application to shame. The contemporary decor within the beach house delivers a high-tech environment which is easily complimented with a modern approach. Jealousy and envy is definitely included from everyones daily responsibilities, but this home delivers the accent missing from the vacation anyone is in thoughts of planning. STOP searching and START reserving, THIS is where YOU want to stay. To be fair and just, the only negative comment that should be highlighted is that at some point, the vacation is over."

  • Haven

"We (a family of 4, 2 children just under 12), arrived very late from LAX. We were tired, jet-lagged and a little hungry. Despite my worse case scenario instincts, our arrival at the house extinguished any concerns. Our initial entry through the gate, all 4 of us gasped a "wow" upon seeing a truly idyllic scene. The house is in some ways frozen in time with its dark hard wood floors, walls, ceiling beams and stair case. The bedroom was cozy and the bed a welcome respite from our long journey from the East Coast. Our son slept on the pull out couch downstairs - in front of the TV... The kitchen had sufficient supplies for our stay and with Ralph's directly across the street, we were able to easily stock it with the supplies we needed. The house is centrally located with easy access to the 101, Beverly Hills, UCLA, Brentwood, the Getty, etc etc. I have been trying to convince our other relatives to consider the house as its proximity to family is nearly ideal. We certainly would stay again. We felt safe and comfortable and looked forward to returning after a long exhausting day around town. If you are a runner, as long as you don't mind waiting at some lights there are numerous routes you can find. There is a golf course I ran around nearby for an early morning 5 mile run... Thanks to Valerie and Gus for being considerate and thoughtful hosts!"

  • Stop looking elsewhere. This House is a veritable Garden of Eden between Sunset and Hollywood

"What a wonderful oasis of tranquility and peace lies in this very special house perfectly placed in Los Angeles Midway between Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Blvd both a 150 meter stroll away A beautiful quiet and tropical garden with a lovely pool and Jaccuzi allow guest the best of all worlds in this crazy town The Hollywood Hills trails a gentle hike 300 meters away Our apartment was a perfect home beautifully equipped and very comfortable Most especially for us was the warmth friendship and help offered by our hosts both of whom were incredibly welcoming However i must draw attention to the kindness shown to us in particular by Ben We both unfortunately got struck down with Bronchitis and Ben was always there inquiring after us, bringing us his amazing home made Chicken soup, Ferrying us to and from the doctors , taking us to the pharmacy to help with our prescriptions and medication. He finally took us to the Airport ,He is a very special man and now considered a close friend to whom we are forever grateful. His help saw us through a particularly rough period ,even when friends to whom we had gone to visit started to fade fast with the fear of catching our malaise. We just wish there was a 10 star category for excellence to award as this is certainly it Thank you Ben and Javier you both will always be welcome in our house in France. All the best for a Fabulous 2015 We hope you will have us stay again sometime in the near future Thank You once again Best J and L xx"
