"This quiet apartment has served as a "home away from home" for me several times. Great place to cook a meal for my children living a couple of blocks away. I could easily have a couple of guests over for a drink on the patio and a casual dinner outside. And the grocery store and cafe were in walking distance. Eda is now a friend and very helpful. A lovely and convenient spot!"

"This home is beautiful, four levels of space with an elevator to make it easy for one with limited mobility to reach three of the four levels. Decks on the second and third levels provide unobstructed views of the beach and the ocean. The kitchen has Viking appliances and is the best stocked of any of the houses that we have rented while traveling. The balconies have heaters, and we ate outside on the upper balcony each evening.
Everything in the home is top of the line, is immaculate, and is well maintained. There are bikes, scooters, kites, boogie boards, etc. available for use. There is a several mile boardwalk along the beach, which we used every day. The large game room with an air hockey table, foosball table, ping-pong table, etc. was a great hit with our grandson. There are multiple televisions throughout the house.
We have stayed multiple times at the house, and the owner, Mike, has went out of his way to make sure that everything was acceptable and that all our needs were accommodated. Unequivocally, this one of the best homes that we have encountered in our travels."

"Very convenient location to everything LA being at the intersection of the I-10 & I-405 with easy access to any direction NSEW!
It was everything that was advertised. Kathryn and her assistant provided excellent service and took care of our needs in a punctual manner.
We stayed here a month and enjoyed the entire stay. All the appliances, central air and heat, television, hot water, and internet worked great.
The only negative and the reason I did not give our stay 5 stars was because the unit was in need of some care and upkeep. Namely the unit needed some drywall repair in the kitchen where there had been some water damage in the ceiling and painting throughout would really help along with a new exhaust fan to replace the old one in the bathroom . I did see the other 2BR unit on the first floor in the same building that this landlord rents as well, and it was in perfect shape and looked great. I can only assume they will do these minor upgrades to this unit soon as well. But overall however I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a good bargain, with a great landlord, and terrific location.
I also want to say for anyone concerned with the close proximity to the 405 and 10 freeways, you should really not worry. It is actually a quiet unit with no noise from the freeways, neighbors, nor nearby streets. Your convenience in traveling to and from your unit with the well known heavy LA traffic is the biggest gift you will get with this great property. Street parking was just fine as well. You will be hard pressed to find other units nearby that have these added benefits. We will rent this unit again when we return next year"
