"This townhouse is within walking distance of almost everything including the beach, shopping, great restaurants, yoga studios and even the 3rd Street Promenade. Numerous hiking trails are a short drive away. Dave, the landlord, provides ammentities needed to feel at home as well as info and equipment (bikes, coolers, beach chairs) to enjoy the area as a visitor. Hiking guides, restaurant suggestions, detailed instructions on all of the items in the house are very helpful. I would highly recommend this property."

"My husband, our teenage son and I have just returned from a wonderful one week in Southern California. We were so pleased with this lovely condo. So comfortable, with everything you need and more to make your stay a wonderful one. Great views from the little balcony where we enjoyed sunsets with a glass of Cali wine after a full day of exploring all the beauty Cali has to offer. Very well located in quiet family oriented neighbourhood. Close to many shops & Ralph`s Grocery store (very good prices). Enjoyed hiking the Temescal Canyon and taking walks to the bluffs nearby. The kitchen is great, fully stalked and functional. We enjoyed preparing our meals. Mary kindly added a few extras such breakfast cereals, milk, cookies, and a nice bottle of wine. Thank you for sharing your lovely place. We look foward to returning!"

"My husband and I recently stayed here and it was wonderful. Located in a quiet and attractive neighborhood and just a block from Main Street and 4 blocks from the beach. This apartment is private and clean. There is only room for 2 people. It has a small kitchenette so you could keep some food on hand. We would definitely stay here again. We did not rent a car and I'm glad we didn't. We rented bikes for $30/day to ride up and down the beach; Uber is readily available anywhere and any time of day in L.A. so we used that to get to other parts of town."

"If you're looking for a cozy, clean one-bedroom unit in a lovely, safe neighborhood- this unit is for you! Fresh towels and basic amenities are included in this one-bedroom/one bathroom unit. We especially liked the two sinks in the bathroom. The fact that the unit had a washer/dryer right in the kitchen was also a plus, as we travel light and could easily throw in a load before we left for the day.
This unit is designed to host only 2 people. It has a very comfortable king-sized bed with great linens.
One can walk to the ocean and numerous shopping options are close by. You can walk to the grocery store and we were even able to walk to Mass.
The unit has an enclosed garage, and nice outdoor living space to expand its potential.
The only drawback to this unit is that it is positioned directly above the garage, therefore one hears the garage doors going up and down throughout the day. In addition, the occasional alley noise may affect one's sleep ( think ...garbage pick-up...once-a-week) But, don't let these factors interfere with renting this well-positioned property in the best part of Santa Monica!! It was a great rental for us! We' definitely return!"
