"We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Venice Beach. The home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to Venice Beach (1 1/2 blocks) without being right on the beach. It was an easy walk to the pier and the colorful characters of Venice Beach. There are several eating places between the house and the beach. This home was perfect for our family (2 adults plus 3 teenagers). It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and extremely clean. It had all the amenities plus more! Michael has done an outstanding job decorating and maintaining the house. The hardwood floors, rugs and furnishings looked brand new! Michael went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was very responsive to texts. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to be within walking distance of Venice Beach. We will most certainly rent this property again when we come back :-) Thank you Michael!!!"

"First, Helen was easy and a Gem to deal with. We arrived, everything was clean and put away. The walk down the passage way gave my wife some thoughts to ponder but after getting to the bungalow, she was good to go. Cassie (bartender)was the first one to greet us. She was very warm and inviting. She made our 1st day. She was unpacking her car with bar stuff and took the time to make sure we stopped in and saw her later that evening (we didn't due to plans but joined her later that weekend.) p.s. now she knows how to make "killer" mint julips! The bungalow was cozy, bedroom was large enough with a good comfortable bed. The loft had a bed also and was used by my son after a night out and no one wanted to drive. The kitchen is small but had the essentials. We were very busy so the TV was off most of the time but had a good picture and sound when we did use it. The bikes were a play. We rode down to the beach every day (no parking expense) and just locked them up. Pretty cool. The decor is early american Venice with a very colorful palette - it was fun. We will stay again if we get back there in the near future. Very much worth the $$. DO NOT MUCH FOOD - very small frig (beers and water for the most part)"

"This apartment is literally steps from the beach, say about 40 steps. It is bright and clean, and very carefully and nicely decorated. The bathroom is upstairs with the bedroom, just know that if stairs are a problem this won't work well for you. But the main thing is, the place is great. Building not much to look at on the outside, but the apartment is very pleasant with a workable kitchen space if you don't want to eat out. The beach is uncrowded, because there is very little street parking in the most southern edge of Venice. There is a garage for you though, so you will be able to come and go without worrying unless you drive a large SUV which will be a tight fit. The beach is wonderful, and being south of Washington Blvd. and the Venice pier the craziness is pretty much filtered out. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Regiane is a kind and thoughtful hostess."

"I stayed here while I was working on location in LA and it quickly became my home away from home!
I worked long hours and it was the most relaxing place to be when I had time off. So quiet when I needed to sleep and so close to the beach so I could take long walks in the morning and enjoy the ocean and sun. It has so many fabulous reading areas. My favorite is the area near the windows facing the walk street. So peaceful. And a fireplace and a hot tub and a grill!
The bed was one of the more comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on and they provide excellent sheets and plenty of towels.
I'm from nyc so being able to walk places is very important to me. I could walk to Abbot Kinney in 5 min where I had many coffee options (blue bottle and Intelligentsia) and great food and shops. Every Sunday morning I would also walk to the Santa Monica farmers market which was 15 min max and a nice walk. I cannot wait to come back! I am almost hesitant to post this review because I want to keep it a secret. The place is also clean and well designed/decorated and the owners are so attentive when you need them but otherwise leave you be.
I will be back I hope in the near near future."
