Great family vacation home in Venice -Recommended
"We are a family of Five from the UK and we adored the Commonhouse and would recommend it to to like sized families without hesitation.
There was some slight misfortune on the day we arrived, the detail of which is not really important, what is important is the brilliant and efficient way that Karen and the team took care of everything. service like that really does give you a confidence boost as to how the rest of the rental will go and for us it was excellent.
The house has everything you need in a home away from home, the best bit being the washer and dryer on the deck outside - this was the first vacation for us when all the clothes in our luggage went home clean !!
The location just off Lincoln Blvd is perfect for access to all the major LA highways and the world class Venice and Santa Monica beaches are just minutes away.
The fabulous -but very expensive- Wholefoods market is at the end of the street but the much more sensibly priced Ralph's is just a few minutes drive further along Lincoln.
We will not hesitate to rent the Commonhouse again when we return to California."

"We extended stay because we were so enchanted with the apartment. The location was perfect. Even though Venice can be intimidating, we really felt secure in this apartment. My teenage son loved the lofted area. The neighbor does have a dog and you could smell it a little in the building, but I'm allergic to dogs and did not have any problems in the apartment. Air circulation was good with all the windows. We spent lots of time at the beach. We rented bikes and took the bike path all the way down to Huntington beach. We also appreciated having parking, as we rented a car to go to Hollywood. Guillermo and Kecille from Globe Homes were really great to work with."

"Our whole family enjoyed this cost apartment. Jonathan was so obliging and even set up an air bed so the girls slept in the same room but separate beds. The instructions to literally everything amazing and we really didn't have any questions since all the details were right there on the homeaway app. I recommend you get the app, it's awesome for getting all the details of your stay here.
The beach and craziness of the boardwalk, while ridiculously close, posed no noise issues and, honestly, at night you wouldn't know you were a stones throw from it.
There's a Starbucks on Washington literally straight up the road if a regular coffee from the apartment's coffee maker just won't do it!
Everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect and all communications were excellent too.
I do hope this review can entice you to stay. We'll definitely be back!"

"I stayed here while I was working on location in LA and it quickly became my home away from home!
I worked long hours and it was the most relaxing place to be when I had time off. So quiet when I needed to sleep and so close to the beach so I could take long walks in the morning and enjoy the ocean and sun. It has so many fabulous reading areas. My favorite is the area near the windows facing the walk street. So peaceful. And a fireplace and a hot tub and a grill!
The bed was one of the more comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on and they provide excellent sheets and plenty of towels.
I'm from nyc so being able to walk places is very important to me. I could walk to Abbot Kinney in 5 min where I had many coffee options (blue bottle and Intelligentsia) and great food and shops. Every Sunday morning I would also walk to the Santa Monica farmers market which was 15 min max and a nice walk. I cannot wait to come back! I am almost hesitant to post this review because I want to keep it a secret. The place is also clean and well designed/decorated and the owners are so attentive when you need them but otherwise leave you be.
I will be back I hope in the near near future."
