  • wonderful apts for a family reunion or wedding

"There are 5 magnificent apts located at this location and our group rented all 5 of them. The apts are 1, 2, or 3 bedroom units and each unit is gorgeous and perfectly furnished! Even though there are 5 units, each one is tucked away and has a private entrance so you don't feel exposed to your neighbors. There are beautiful courtyards/patios and garden areas for outdoor seating and entertaining. An after wedding brunch was hosted here and we had plenty of kitchen space and indoor/outdoor seating to host a large group. The ample garage parking felt secure and was very convenient. It was an easy walk to the beach, The Promenade, and the shops and restaurants on Montana street. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is a fantastic vrbo rental and the price was very competitive for the quality and location."

  • Exactly As Described!

"Check in was quick and easy! Cottage was exactly as described! Carmen was very welcoming, and gave us some places to visit that I did not know about during our stay! Awesome hostess! It was clean, and well maintained! The cottage was a little warm, it was 95-98 degrees during our stay, and no fans in the cottage! We did keep all windows open though, and it helped a little, but a fan would have been nice! The cottage location is in a residential area, and you can hear vehicles go by, but it gets quite after 9 pm (If you like to go to bed before that, buy ear-plugs and you will be fine). The first night me and my husband was there, we did hear a whole phone conversation late one night, since all windows in the cottage were opened, and you have to keep them open since the cottage has no ac or fan. The cottage is also within walking distance to the beach, about a 10 minute walk! Also, if you have your own car, Carmen does provide you with a parking space in the back of the cottage, and you can also park in the front of the house, when you find a parking spot! If you like to cook.... the cottage has dishes and pans, everything you need in the kitchen! Had a good time at this cottage, but my only suggestion would be to put up curtains in the kitchen and bathroom, even though it was a shower curtain preventing someone looking in! Other than that...I would definitely stay again!"

  • Great beach home location, perfect for families with kids

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is an easy two block walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk to downtown and the pier. We have a 4-year-old daughter and an 11-month-old son, so I was looking for a place where the kids could nap quietly yet still be close enough to the daytime action, and this was a perfect blend. This house is definitely family friendly, especially for those with young children. It has a kids' room with fun bunk beds and a large cupboard full of toys. And I was so appreciative of all of the baby gear-- high chair, pack n' play, even a baby monitor and a baby gate for the staircase! Plenty of beach towels and stand toys for the beach. The owners were really great to work with, and communication was very easy and consistent all the way from the inquiry process to the end of our vacation. We even had one minor malfunction with something in the house, and the owner was easily reached, dealt with and remedied the problem swiftly and efficiently, and made definite effort to make sure our vacation was not inconvenienced in any way. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again in the future!"

  • Venice Beach Walk Street

"We had a great stay at this house for the month of July. The listing and photos accurately reflected the appearance and amenities - it actually seemed a bit nicer than the photos. It was clean and well-maintained. Nice front yard for quiet sitting. The house was a perfect size for us - a couple with an occasional guest. I would think a family would be fine as well. There is only one bathroom, so two couples might find it a bit small for a lengthy period. We loved the location - a beautiful, quiet pedestrian-only street close to both the ocean and the restaurants and shops on Abbott Kinney and Rose Avenue. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops (and the beach), but driving is necessary to see all the LA cultural attractions. We would not hesitate to recommend this property!"
