  • Amazing sunsets.. great location.

"I stayed in Roy's condo for a week and had an amazing time... it's a great location right on the strand, beautiful view, sunsets, walks on the beach, very relaxing, great bike rides up the coast, close to restaurants and shopping. Roy was very helpful and I definitely plan to come back."

  • Cute loft in the perfect location!

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with our baby. It looks just like the pictures -- very open and full of light during the day which is really great when staying in a 1 bedroom place! It was the perfect size for us and had plenty of room for our baby's Pack-N-Play downstairs. It was a warm weekend but they had fans available for us to use (the owner even dropped off an extra one) though it wasn't much of an issue since we were out for most of the days. It is very close to all the great shops and restaurants on Abbott Kinney (Tasting Kitchen for brunch was amazing, Gjelina Take Away or GTA for all sorts of great food are just a couple of our favorites). It was even faster by to get to everything by bike - we brought our own and kept them inside the gate but they have ones to borrow too. We biked to restaurants/shops on Rose (Lincoln & Rose area - Superba Snack Bar was so good!) and also biked to Santa Monica (the Misfit for happy hour, Sugarfish for yummy sushi) near 3rd St Promenade using bike paths on Main Street. The neighborhood is nice and the property was very clean. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!"

  • Great beach home location, perfect for families with kids

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is an easy two block walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk to downtown and the pier. We have a 4-year-old daughter and an 11-month-old son, so I was looking for a place where the kids could nap quietly yet still be close enough to the daytime action, and this was a perfect blend. This house is definitely family friendly, especially for those with young children. It has a kids' room with fun bunk beds and a large cupboard full of toys. And I was so appreciative of all of the baby gear-- high chair, pack n' play, even a baby monitor and a baby gate for the staircase! Plenty of beach towels and stand toys for the beach. The owners were really great to work with, and communication was very easy and consistent all the way from the inquiry process to the end of our vacation. We even had one minor malfunction with something in the house, and the owner was easily reached, dealt with and remedied the problem swiftly and efficiently, and made definite effort to make sure our vacation was not inconvenienced in any way. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again in the future!"

  • Romantics

"First, Helen was easy and a Gem to deal with. We arrived, everything was clean and put away. The walk down the passage way gave my wife some thoughts to ponder but after getting to the bungalow, she was good to go. Cassie (bartender)was the first one to greet us. She was very warm and inviting. She made our 1st day. She was unpacking her car with bar stuff and took the time to make sure we stopped in and saw her later that evening (we didn't due to plans but joined her later that weekend.) p.s. now she knows how to make "killer" mint julips! The bungalow was cozy, bedroom was large enough with a good comfortable bed. The loft had a bed also and was used by my son after a night out and no one wanted to drive. The kitchen is small but had the essentials. We were very busy so the TV was off most of the time but had a good picture and sound when we did use it. The bikes were a play. We rode down to the beach every day (no parking expense) and just locked them up. Pretty cool. The decor is early american Venice with a very colorful palette - it was fun. We will stay again if we get back there in the near future. Very much worth the $$. DO NOT MUCH FOOD - very small frig (beers and water for the most part)"
