  • Hidden Heaven Haven!

"Stunningly beautiful, remote paradise in the Redwood forest. Just bring your personal items, food and go! (Or enjoy dining out!) We had a 'family reunion' of sorts, and arrived when this time of year yielded an extra magnificent show of daffodils, and grape hyacinth about the property! All 3 cottages, were exceptional. Special touches, like a vintage bottle of their Estate Wine with glasses greet you as you enter each dining area were provided. Spectacular views, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchens, and the extra large BBQ, pool, jaccuzzi, fire pit, and sauna were fantastic! Helpful, over-the-top staff, and the general splendor of the property allowed for ease of use, and ethereal relaxing walks. Located near tons of amazing wineries, eateries, parks and the coast. Just dreamy! 5 Star resort, only it's all yours privately!"

  • Just Us and Our Dog

"We just finished a fantastic week at Cottontail Acres. The house sits on nine acres and there is nothing between it and the ocean. The sandy beach is beautiful and goes on for miles. We were often the only ones on it. We had deer in the yard every day. The house itself is fenced, so we were able to allow our border collie to run free. Holly, the owner, has literally thought of everything. There are even beach chairs and binoculars available for guests. The house is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, and the beds are like new. Inside, wherever you look there is something interesting. This was the best, most relaxing get-away we've ever had, and we plan to reserve a week next year."

  • Cute house in great condition!

"We were impressed by this house! Having stayed in a few rentals cabins you have see both this and that but this house really exceeded our expectations by far! We were instantly in love with it, and that was even before we discovered there was a second bathroom! Everything is fresh, clean and well done. Clearly a lot of effort is invested in this house to make it what it is and to keep it that way. Great location too for exploring Eureka-Arcata-Trinidad and beyond. We did, and we also spent some quality time in the house, cooking Saturday dinner. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we took another trip to the area. Recommended!"

  • Amazing Trip

"I am long overdue in submitting a review for this wonderful property. Last summer I took my two kids for a trip to Northern California and we stayed at this lovely home. The house itself was simply amazing - all amenities were available to us and it was impeccably clean and well-stocked. It has been over a year since we went and my kids are still talking about going back to Sea Ranch and staying at the house and making sure we're able to have my husband/their dad come along. This was our first trip to this area of California and we were excited about visiting simply based on the pictures of the house and upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I have ever had with my kids and we will certainly be back again."
