  • whales, wine and beautiful weather!

"Went to the Landship for the weekend and had absolutely perfect weather! Sun was shining, whales were sighted and just had the most relaxing wonderful weekend on the coast! Love the views, fireplace, and we even got mussels and cooked them up with some local wine from Pacific Star winery and it was magical! Cant wait to go back!"

  • Amazing place!

"This place has an amazing view of Clearlake. You can also spot some deer around the property. The place was well maintained and was perfect for our stay. We were 3 families with 3 kids and they just loved the place. One family left a couple of jackets behind and the owner promptly mailed it us at his cost. Really appreciate that gesture. I would highly recommend this place."

  • Exceptional Wildlife Viewing!

"We've been going to Sea Ranch 30+ years and this is our favorite house of the many we have rented (shhhhh! don't tell anyone!) Seriously, the location is 'everything' with the south facing, sunny deck that protects the prevailing north wind and keeps you toasty warm while listening to and watching the waves breaking on Black Beach. It's a beautiful, easy walk down to the sand. The beach house is fully stocked and so peaceful that you won't want or need to go anywhere. But if you do, the Sea Ranch Lodge is right across the bluff for a sunset cocktail or yummy meal. Great gift shop there as well! Wildlife viewing is amazing right from the house with whales, herons, egrets, pelicans, deer, foxes. You can walk to the cove where baby seals are born in spring. Local docents will help you view them safely. Thanks so much to you owners for sharing this special, super relaxing spot"
