"Great spacious house and cottages. Exactly as advertised. Owners were very responsive and sent me my deposit back immediately. Ideal for a large group of friends or family who are wine tasting or attending a wedding. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the best restaurants. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine and guides to many GREAT wineries which are right down Highway 128"

"We had a lovely time in Boonville and the surrounding area, and a big part of it was coming back every day to our own private cozy house under big trees next to the grapevines. Well off the road, it was quiet and serene (except for the occasionally loud crows) with a rural feel, and yet it was only a short walk into town. (Boonville is not big, by any stretch, but it has some excellent wine tasting, and restaurants, markets, a gallery or two, etc. Worth the walk.) The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and sensibly equipped. Everything we needed was right there, ready to be put into service. I especially appreciated the uncluttered surfaces and the luggage stands, so that there was plenty of room for our things. The owners were friendly and responsive but not the least intrusive. The Anderson Valley is a great area to visit if you are looking for a respite from city living, and the Private Vineyard House it a great base from which to do it. If you visit, be sure to taste their excellent wines (in the Foursight Winery tasting room)."

"It is almost hard to put into worlds how incredible HHR is. The property is gorgeous, the house(s) are spacious, comfortable, well maintained and beautiful, the activities are endless, and the peace and tranquility are priceless. We had 17 people, ages 1.5 to 83 and we all had a blast. You do not need to bring anything (minus your food!) - the house is stocked full with supplies and toys. So many things to do we didn't even get to them all. The rope swing into the pond was our favorite, but we also spent tons of time in the pool and jacuzzi, on the tennis/basketball court, exploring the trails, playing on the huge grass lawn, zip lining, smores at the fire pit, and so much more. The owner was very helpful and responsive in planning the trip and the caretaker at the property, W. Dan, was always available and so kind, even gave us a tour of the local brewery. We will go back as soon as possible. This place is heaven!"
