  • GMAN

"Great place to have a family reunion. Tough for the elderly to get to the dock but a great view from the main deck. Good dock was in good condition and had room for our boat an kayak. Comfortable for sleeping 10 in the main house. Seemed to have enough hot water for showering all of us. Not much room for turning cars around and DO NOT tow your boat to the house. Had unhook it and turn by hand with help from a couple who happen to drive down the driveway. First cast from the dock resulted in a 4 lb bass."

  • Darling place directly across street from lake

"We had a wonderful time here. Extremely well maintained place. Open and airy feeling upstairs and room for 6 downstairs. There were only 2 of us so had tons of room. Easy to use kitchen with all amenities except dishwasher. Older TV's both up and down but worked well. Lots of space heaters to take advantage of or wood burning stove. No WIFI but didn't miss it. Lots of walking up/down stairs both inside and and out so keep in mind. Nice big covered deck with outstanding view of Mt. Konocti and lake. Very quiet and peaceful especially at night. Nice not to hear freeways or sirens! Weber BBQ on deck. Private pier isn't directly across from house. About 100 yards away. Tried our hand at fishing for about 4 hours but alas no luck this time. Beach would be fun in the summer. Lakeshore Drive is the access way to the house. It's a pretty small, real winding, up and down road for about the last 4 miles to the house and we encountered lots of deer even during the day. Did not feel comfortable driving it at night so we stayed in each night. Just something to keep in mind if you were thinking you could just pop down for dinner/drinks after dark. Owners are very, very nice and returned emails quickly. Also returned deposit promptly. You can tell they take great pride in their place."

  • Perfect Relaxing Retreat

"I love this place. My husband and I have stayed several times now. He fishes during the day while I cuddle up by the fire and watch movies. At night we grill on the patio and just enjoy the view & peace and quiet of a beautiful lake front home. It is a perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The beds are super comfy!"

The Indian Nature Trail is enjoyed by hikers of all ages.
