"End of March 2015. I don't need much to be happy at the beach, but I just spent a fantastic weekend at the very comfortable Tideaway and loved every minute. You almost have to tear yourself away from the views and the whales...but daytrips to headlands at Russian Gulch, MacKerricher, Jughandle and Pt Cabrillo headlands include more great views and whales with wildflowers...notably deep purple Delphinium and rampant Wild Cucumber this trip. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen and slept soundly to the rhythmic Pacific soundtrack. Also LOVED the new FB bakery, A Sweet Affair, whose proprietress is creating authentic and delicious french pastry art. Roundman for meats and Harvest Market (gets more upscale every time we visit) are also required shopping stops. Miss the place already. Planning a return while the Spring "sunny season" is with us. Tideaway is as good as it gets. Go. You won't be sorry."

From the pool to the hot tub to the paddleboat to the bbq to the firepit, this house has anything and everything you could want on a weekend getaway and then some!!
The surroundings are so beautiful and Kelly is such a great host, I am already planning my return!"

"My husband and I were in town to meet our new grandson. This was a perfect place to stay, clean, cozy and comfortable in a great location. It's within walking distance of the downtown area and a grocery store. The owners put a lot of thought into the items that were provided for our comfort. Having access to the laundry facility was also very convenient. We would love to stay here again sometime."

"It is almost hard to put into worlds how incredible HHR is. The property is gorgeous, the house(s) are spacious, comfortable, well maintained and beautiful, the activities are endless, and the peace and tranquility are priceless. We had 17 people, ages 1.5 to 83 and we all had a blast. You do not need to bring anything (minus your food!) - the house is stocked full with supplies and toys. So many things to do we didn't even get to them all. The rope swing into the pond was our favorite, but we also spent tons of time in the pool and jacuzzi, on the tennis/basketball court, exploring the trails, playing on the huge grass lawn, zip lining, smores at the fire pit, and so much more. The owner was very helpful and responsive in planning the trip and the caretaker at the property, W. Dan, was always available and so kind, even gave us a tour of the local brewery. We will go back as soon as possible. This place is heaven!"
