"We have rented properties from Hawaii to Europe and all points in between. Pepperwood is simply the best. It is classic Northern California Redwood Empire strong in its styling and location. The view is amazingly close to the water yet with a level fenced in yard that young children can run and play without worry. The house is California coastal retro, yet is tastefully updated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and the entire house is white glove clean. When we arrived a fire was already laid and ready for a match in the fireplace. The uniqueness and feel for this home is found in the fact that every angle of the yard and spaces in the home have an incredible view of the surroundings. The flock of Turkeys brought an added thrill to our two young grandchildren. The games and child friendly nature of the house such as a high chair and pack and play were so thoughtful. The location of this house relative to Ft Bragg and the Skunk Train, or Mendocino and its shops is perfect. The beaches are minutes away. Brian and Michelle were very gracious and professional in handling contracts and payments including shipping back a forgotten kid item. We will definitely be back because Pepperwood is simply the best."

"The "River House" is the perfect place for a family get away. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is breathtaking, and the house was very welcoming. It is isolated enough to feel private, yet is close to amenities, such as restaurants, bowling, movies, the beach, and most of all, countless hiking trails."

"My partner and I returned to Abalone Arch for our second visit. There were many stops in California. This was the only reservation made early so we would be able to stay at the lovely Abalone Arch. The previous reviews pretty much sum up what your experience will entail. The view of the Pacific Ocean from your room is second to none. You are perched on the cliffs. The property is beautiful and serene. The suite is well appointed. Nothing is left to chance. Wendy and Barry are the perfect hosts. They are available if you need them but your privacy comes first. I did use the outside shower this time. Awesome! Lots of info available in the suite. Wendy and Barry are a wealth of info if you want ideas for exploring the area. We only had one dinner in Mendocino. We watched the sun go down each evening and ate our dinners and drank our Ca. wines. Thanks guys for another great stay."

"We spent 8 days in this beautiful apartment attached to Rahi's expansive house. The apartment is totally private and off a quiet street in Eureka. Our backyard opened on to a stunning redwood grove and canyon. The interior is modern and well designed. Perfect for a couple. Rahi was a gracious host who was there to welcome us and gave us a lot of information. There is a lot to explore in the area and we plan to return soon and would definitely stay here again."
