"We just spent 7 days in this cozy cottage. Everything you need is here...just add relaxation. This hidden haven was our home base at the end of each adventurous day in the beautiful Mendocino area. We were so much impressed that we plan on making this a yearly prescription for our happiness."

"My husband and I just returned from Cheryl's place and had a wonderful time! We enjoyed well appointed, simple but very tasteful & charming decor and the beautiful view of the ocean from all the windows and from the large deck.........hot tub was wonderful to soak in under the Moon light. The house is very private, quiet and has a sweet intimate feel to it. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds fly by and listening to the ocean waves.........very peaceful and romantic. There is a wonderful restaurant just down the street "Ledford House" we highly recommend it for a romantic dinner with a spectacular ocean view. Delicious food and wonderful service. We would love to come back to Cheryl's place in the future!!"

"We were very pleased with this 2 bedroom home between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen worked out nicely. There is a great wood burning stove and plenty of nice dry split wood. Be careful - its easy to get it too warm. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was large and clean. The house did need a good deep cleaning to get rid of spider webs and other things but the owner responded immediately to my note about this and had it deep cleaned right after we left. I should note that the house was clean in all the normal cleaning places - definitely not a problem. It was great being so close to the state parks with the beautiful coast line. Also, it was just a short hop into Fort Bragg for shopping and about 6 miles to Mendocino for tourist stuff. The owners were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to our suggestions."

"Our family of 8 had a awesome stay at Pelican Point! The view was astonishing, I could sit there and watch it for days! It was fun to have an evening fire and watch the sun go down. We cooked almost all of our meals there and the house had everything you would need to prepare a meal. We also enjoyed the board games at the house. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing. There are neighbors nearby, but at Pelican Point you feel like you are the only ones around. It's very peaceful. We enjoyed walking the local state parks, kayaking in the ocean, visiting the town of Mendocino as well as our daytrip up to the Avenue of the Giants. Overall we would rent this house again in a heartbeat!"
