  • Just wonderful in every way

"We had a perfect four night stay in this beautiful cottage. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located. Everything anyone could need is provided by Mary. Peaceful and restful with the most gracious and kind host and hostess. Thanks for the breakfast eggs, muffins, fruit and coffee. We feel like we made friends for life. Exactly like it is pictured comfy bed and beautiful garden. We will be back. I really hate to have to share this little gem."

  • Perfect!

"My best friend (of nearly 50 years) and I just stayed in your rental cottage last week-end. It was absolutely perfect. We didn't really want to do the tourist thing, so we only went in to dinner one night. It was foggy, so no sunset pictures, but that is what we wanted. It was so hot at home (over 100 degrees) and forest fires everywhere. What a welcome relief if only for a few days. Everything was as you described it. You were so very helpful and gracious. Thank you again, and we will be back."

  • Whalesong house Mendocino

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: AMAZING . This house is set on a bluff over looking the ocean. Its Spectacular. There is a view from every room in the house. So beautiful. We were able to bring out K9 also (pet friendly). The house had everything you would need. We loved it so much. And there is hiking galore. Walk to the beach, or to the Cabrillo Light House. Cant wait to return."

  • Comfortable Seclusion

"This was a very enjoyable, relaxing stay for our family of 4. The house was clean, roomy, and had a secluded cabin feel which we enjoyed. The distant view of the ocean can be enjoyed from the wraparound deck or from the living room window, perfect for watching the sunset. The kitchen had everything one might need for cooking, baking, etc. The washer & dryer were convenient, especially with 2 children, allowing us to pack less. The beautiful gardens add ed a private backdrop to breakfasts on the rear deck, where we saw a family of foxes scurrying across the property. It would be difficult to find a rental similar in size, location & convenience for the price. We will be back."
