  • Thank you Alex!...

"Steph and I want to thank you so much for being able to retreat to your home. It is a special place from the unassuming and gentle approach to the beautiful views, layout, provisions, attention to detail, very friendly donkey and curious deer. Thank you so much for your kind last minute accommodations to our situation. Stephanie and I truly loved gazing north westerly from the great room, all upwardly during our evening walks with the dogs, and to the setting sun during late afternoon hikes along the beach. Steph even took a marched all the way up to the top of the hill and met some of your kind neighbors there. I'm trying to figure out how to post a comment on the website, and will check with Steph on how to do so. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time at your home. We will be sure to return and recommend to friends as well. Take good care, Chris"

  • Lovely!

"My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and found this absolutely charming place in the woods just 3 miles from the ocean. Lovely setting, cottage is meticulous and homey and quiet. We loved it! It even rained all day one day we were there and we didn't even care! Thank you, Bob and Diane, for sharing your property!"

  • romantic getaway

"We wanted to escape for a romantic weekend and this was the perfect place. Cozy, clean, and charming. We truly appreciated the attention to detail, and the simple yet well thought out decorating. We loved the hardwood floors, open beam ceilings, and all the windows displaying the amazing view. It was cold and foggy, but we were happy to escape our hometown heat, and cozy up to the warmth of the little wood stove. We explored nearby Anderson Valley and Mendocino, but honestly the highlight was hanging out in the deckhouse. We will most certainly return."
