  • Perfect!

"My best friend (of nearly 50 years) and I just stayed in your rental cottage last week-end. It was absolutely perfect. We didn't really want to do the tourist thing, so we only went in to dinner one night. It was foggy, so no sunset pictures, but that is what we wanted. It was so hot at home (over 100 degrees) and forest fires everywhere. What a welcome relief if only for a few days. Everything was as you described it. You were so very helpful and gracious. Thank you again, and we will be back."

  • Awesome place beautiful memories

"Remembering my stay in this awesome place, making me want to come back again. I really want to let everyone know how I and my group love this place. So I wrote: "I want to let you know that all members of the group (my brother w/his wife, my sisters w/ their husbands, my niece, my husband and I) would like to thank you for let us staying at your gorgeous place in the beautiful Mendocino. That place is awesome, tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and well maintained. It's such a tremendous and unforgettable experience to be there. We stayed, laughed, talked, joked, played, and did anything that we could together. Everybody was so pleased, happy, relax, joyful… oops sorry, I could not describe our feelings precisely…Anyway.. We were so grateful and blessed, and you’ve made it possible. Thanks again, I'm looking for the other opportunity to be in that place again someday"."

  • Absolutely perfect!

"I booked the Loft for a weekend getaway from San Francisco for two. We wanted someplace that would be so wonderful we wouldn't feel the need to even leave the house. Spring Ranch's loft cottage is that place. It is beautifully appointed, down to every detail. The unique combination of design elements come together to create an elegant cohesion of rustic warmth. The bathroom features a very large tub (good for tall folks) and there is a fun history of where each piece originates (like the tub, from the old Palace hotel in San Francisco). The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the spacious living area allowed for room to spread out. Oh, and if you do feel like leaving, it's just a quick drive down to town, and there are extensive hiking trails right across the road. This is the first VRBO I've ever stayed at where the real thing was even more impressive than the photos. Not much else to say, except that if you're looking for a place in Mendocino - this is it."

  • Our Best Mendo Stay Yet

"We come to Mendocino once a year as a family, and out of a lot of great places to stay, my family really enjoyed this house the most. Having a place where we can all stay together, with a kitchen for cooking meals is a real plus for us. My kids LOVED the tower, and even though there was a downstairs bed available, chose to sleep together on the third floor, just for the magic of it. The roof view is magnificent and the garden was really lovely and relaxing for us to hang out in. Everything was really clean and inviting, and when we arrived, we took a deep breath and relaxed! We will definitely be back."
