  • Our Best Mendo Stay Yet

"We come to Mendocino once a year as a family, and out of a lot of great places to stay, my family really enjoyed this house the most. Having a place where we can all stay together, with a kitchen for cooking meals is a real plus for us. My kids LOVED the tower, and even though there was a downstairs bed available, chose to sleep together on the third floor, just for the magic of it. The roof view is magnificent and the garden was really lovely and relaxing for us to hang out in. Everything was really clean and inviting, and when we arrived, we took a deep breath and relaxed! We will definitely be back."

  • A Perfect Week!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I spent a week at Chapman Point House and loved our time there. From hanging out on the deck overlooking one of the most beautiful views in Mendocino to cooking delicious dinners in a perfectly appointed kitchen, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Even though the home has wifi, we completely disconnected from our gazillion devices and walked away rejuvenated. We will certainly be back!"

  • Best place for a Rustic Wedding!

"We recently rented the entire property including the main house, loft and large wedding barn for our August Wedding. It was such an amazing experience, if you are looking for a rustic wedding venue I recommend this place hands down. You get the whole property for three days for a flat fee (NO additional charges are tacked on later) which means you can have your wedding party or families stay on the property and make it an entire weekend getaway. Regardless if you are renting the property for a wedding or a family reunion, the place is amazing. Its large living room provides a good place to congregate and relax. There is definitely something majestic the area. Remember though, this is an older Victorian home packed with history, you are not going to a Vegas Hotel, its rustic, thats the whole point of coming here and to Mendocino in general. We thought it was tranquil during our stay and then on Saturday, the perfect place for a big wedding party!"

  • Sister Reunion 2014

"My three sisters, my husband and nephew (6 of us) spent 4 nights at Sea Garden at the end of August. My husband and I have been to Mendocino numerous times, and it was nice being located between Mendo and Ft. Bragg this time. Great location! We had a wonderful time, and the owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. When a last-minute snag came up with our plans, the owners were very accommodating, which we sincerely appreciated! The home was very comfortable, and I haven't slept that well in forever --not sure if it was the cool weather, the sound of the ocean, or the incredibly comfy bed and soft sheets. We had a fantastic time, and my sisters from Texas were blown away by the beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Tammy S. Santa Clarita, CA"
