  • exceptional trip!

"My wife and I and our Mini Schnauzer enjoyed 5 wonderful days at this beautiful home. The house was fantastic, the weather was unbelievable and all and all it was one of the best trips we've had in our 40 years together. The house as all the amenities you need for your stay, (with the exception of kindling and matches). The proximity to the trails was a plus too. We walked the trails by the bluffs, listening to the ocean and the sheep :) Great house, great spot!! We'll be back."

  • Wonderful Property

"Thank you so much for a relaxing stay in your home. We will be back. For fellow travelers: The location is great. Some of the Sea Ranch properties are more out in the open. Fellow residents can see you sitting on your porch or even, in your home. Not this house, nestled behind some trees at the end of a cul-de-sac, it is very private and quiet. There is no road noise from nearby Route 1, either. Both floor level bedrooms have on-suite bathrooms - ideal for two couples. The latter loft is for the young or the young at heart. If you have more than two couples, one of the on-suite bathrooms can be made accessible to all. Everything we needed for cooking was provided. Plenty of spices and pots and pans. The view is wonderful. Not a white water view but it is never interrupted by people walking in front of your house. You can sit for hours just enjoying the whitecaps on the ocean or grab some binoculars (provided) and see if you can catch a whale swimming by. It is a short walk to the bluffs and a little longer one to "Walk-on Beach". Enjoy!"

  • Beach Retreat Vacation

"This house was fantastic. The photos are nice but they don't do it justice. You really need to feel the bright, clean, quiet beauty for yourself. The home is spacious so even if you come with a family everyone has their privacy. Every comfort has been thought of by the homeowner. The view of the ocean is terrific and I enjoyed it while reading on the large window seat. The area is great for beaches and hiking. We also loved the nearby restaurants. Our favorites are Trinks, Upper Crust Pizza and 2 Fish Bakery. My son and his college friends loved hiking in the area and the hot tub at night. I would recommend this home to anyone!"

  • Very quiet, fresh air, great time to re-juvinate oneself

"The home was so well stocked with basics that the only thing we really "had" to bring was food. (the restaurant at Sea Ranch is excellent, too!). Lots of good books, videos, games, and gorgeous views. Everything was in working order. Our only issue was when we had a few very hot days, we could not cool off the MBR downstairs by opening windows - no screens - and very aggressive flies came in.The downstairs entry was super convenient, too.The place is so clean and well tended, only an idiot would leave it in poor shape. We plan on going back, and perhaps making this an annual event to get away from our 112+ degrees in Roseville. Oh, lots of lovely wildlife all around us, and the beaches and trails are extremely walkable. I am a picky person after 5 joint replacements, and the clarity of the beach access maps made it possible for me to do the "impossible" - scramble down a cliff to the beach :) A big thank you - to the owners!"
