  • Comfortable Cottage in a Great Location

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location; within site of the harbor and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Trinidad Head loop trailhead. The house itself is clean and comfortable. The second floor stairs are steep and the floors creak and moan as you would expect in an older house. There are ants in the kitchen, but being right on the beach, it is to be expected. Just make sure to wipe up all your crumbs and keep food packages sealed. The hot tub was hot and clean. I noticed a guy came to check and add chemicals while we were there, so it’s good to know it’s maintained on a regular basis. Overall, we were pleased with the property and would stay again."

  • A Forest Mansion

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To say this was a nice house, an enjoyable stay, a pleasant experience, or memorable is a complete understatement to the immense peace I had staying here. Upon I arrival, I couldn't help but notice how well stocked the bathrooms and kitchen was. I immediately felt at home. There was even salt and pepper, olive oil, coffee filters, and wine glasses!! The location was perfect. It was just a stroll to the market for breakfast burrito ingredients, yet shrouded in the forest from all surroundings. I loved the layout, as well. Lots of privacy for the couples and friends who stayed here, yet lots of room for eating together or watching a movie. The pool table and bonus room was a huge hit. I can't help but mention that the wifi is super strong, the jacuzzi was perfectly heated, the beds and couches were crazy cozy, the patio was legit. There were speakers in the kitchen that even went out to the patio. When I arrived, I didn't receive the code to the guest house and the manager got back to me within minutes to inform me. She was so nice! :) Everything was spectacularly maintained, and it was rustic and charming at the same time. I loved the new floors, they were beautiful. You guys did a great job!! We spent a lot of time on the beach, within the forest, and in the jacuzzi. I can't wait to come back for years to come. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and hospitable. I don't often leave reviews, but can go on . about the most amazing vacation I've ever had."

  • Exceptional Vacation Retreat

"This was an absolute top notch, first class home located in an amazingly relaxful location. Our family echos the exceptionally positive feedback Ash and Ra provided in an earlier review. In addition, we would add that the majesty of their location nestled within the redwood forest provided both a quaint and quiet setting. You'll only hear the sounds of birds, wind among the redwood trees, and the steady flow of the creek. If you've never seen a 100% moss yard, you'll be treated to nature's beauty at its finest. From a practical perspective, their location is 10 minutes from the airport, less than 30 minutes from several National Park locations, and less than a mile to the grocery store. Dozens and dozens of Redwood forest hikes are located within this same area including many bordering the Pacific. If you are considering a visit to northern California, we highly recommend Raven Ridge any time of the year. Whle December is the rainiest and coldest month of the year for this part of the country, we were able to enjoy hiking and outdoor activity every day as low temperatures did not dip below freezing and the rains were more of a steady mist. Lastly, Christmas could not have been better for us. Raven Ridge was decorated with a tasteful elegance. Many family photos and videos were taken to ensure happy memories for years to come. Thank you Donna and Larry for helping to make our holiday season so special."

  • Sanctuary, the name says it all

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Incredible architectural gem harmonious with its tranquil, peaceful surrounding over a breathtaking view of Trinidad coastline of rocky cliffs, mysterious sea stacks shrouded in rolling layers of fog to shimmering blue waves below. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and equipped for gourmet cooking, especially grilling. However, not so much for baking, no pie or cake pans, rolling pin, mat, mixing bowls though it does have an egg beater. The house is not on public water so conservation is a must, and is on septic tank so caution needs to be taken. The 3 bedrooms are luxurious and spacious with gorgeous en suite bathrooms, but the so called 4th bedroom is a closet with no window or air vent and barely room for a bunk twin bed. It only has access to a hall half bath up the stairs. The incredible walls of windows make for gorgeous vast ocean view inside as though you're outside, but it means you're up with the sun, you need to wear sunscreen inside the house and it is coooold inside when it's cold outside. The thermostats cannot be set to keep a constant temperature indoors. The convenient gas fireplace does keep the living room warm on cold nights, and down comforters are in the 3 bedrooms. That said, we loved Sanctuary and can't wait to return. It is designed to be enjoyed thoroughly indoors with incredible views from all rooms (except the closet bedroom) luxurious and well appointed furnishing and decor, and outdoors with a fire pit equipped with cords of wood already split, a grill and lounging chairs."
