"This little cabin was perfect for our stay at Clear Lake. The cabin was cozy and clean. After a very long drive from Southern California, we arrived to a very clean and comfortable home with a lovely view of the lake. The local wine and cookies on arrival was a nice touch. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. Lisa thought of everything. You will not want for anything in this cabin - I was able to cook all our meals just as if I was at home - there isn't a kitchen gadget or tool missing from this cabin. The boat ramp and dock were also very welcome as we could launch our boat right on the property. Having a washer and dryer handy was also very nice. This place is about 4 miles from town so if you need to get something, you won't have a long drive. I especially appreciated the stock of duck food (so did the ducks). We would definitely stay here again. A great place to get away from it all for a few days!!"

"High Rock Ranch exceeded our expectations in every regard. Our family enjoyed a one week reunion last fall. The Indian Summer weather was perfect. The listing photos do not capture High Rock true beauty. We enjoyed swimming, rope swinging and paddle boarding in the main lake. The single track running and mountain bike riding trails are world class. We had planned on venturing out to wine taste and explore Anderson Valley but never left the ranch. There is some much to do and enjoy between the tennis court, massive level lawn, 70’ swimming pool, hot tub, lakes, trails, Frisbee golf and horse shoes. We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you for providing us a large slice of paradise."

"My daughters (14 and 21) and I recently stayed here and were absolutely charmed. The house is cheerful, sunny and inviting. There's a rural and private feeling, but you're a walk or bike ride away from everything you need. We loved the Farmer's Market on Saturday, followed by a hike in the Community Forest, a soak in the hot tub at Finnish Country Sauna, followed by a great dinner at 3Foods Cafe and ice cream at Arcata Scoop. My only regret is not having time to catch a Humbolt Crabs game. (Arcata's semi-pro baseball team.) We can't wait to come back. Thank you Ann!"

"We stayed here for several nights in April. The house has fantastic coastal views and within walking distance to nearby trails. Beaches and a spectacular coastal ridge trail are a short drive down the hill and across Highway 1. The house is full of natural light and very well appointed, with quality furnishings and electronics. One can relax on the front porch, dining area, living room or bedrooms, all with great views. Or sit in the hot tub and take in the stars on a clear night. It's just a very comfortable and welcoming place, an ideal vacation retreat."
