  • Loved the location, loved the Yurt

"My girlfriend and I spent a week in the Yurt. We loved every minute and hated leaving. The area is excellent if you like hiking or mountain biking. Jedidiah Smith Redwood Forest is a short drive away and we spent a couple of days exploring. The Oregon Caves are about 30 minutes up hwy 99 and it is definitely worth a visit too. The yurt had everything we could have wanted. Sitting in the hot tub at night, by the river, looking at the stars just can't be beat. We drove in the road the first day and dropped off our stuff and then parked by the bridge for the rest of the week and I think that is probably the best way. If I was traveling lighter, perhaps for a weekend, I would have just parked by the bridge and carried my stuff over. The property is beautiful and peaceful. I had high hopes for this week away and our stay here exceeded my expectations. I think we would have been happy staying at any of the cabins on the ranch but I think the Yurt is the best choice."

  • Ruth is a great host

"It was a first birthday celebration for two of the kids in our friends circle and we were a bunch of ppl who came here. It was a pleasure to stay in this house. Ruth is an absolute delight to talk to and she took care of all the things that we asked her for. She even returned some stuff that we had left behind by mistake."
