  • Best of the Best!

"To celebrate 28 years together, we could not have picked a better place! Set on a private ocean bluff the Tideaway is a romantic and rustic home with breathtaking ocean views. Close to Ft. Bragg, Mendocino, and State Parks there are plenty of places to explore. The home is beautifully appointed and very comfortable; the well stocked kitchen has everything you could possible need and more. If you are looking for serenity, inspiration or adventure then the Tideaway is your place. Enjoy the day taking in the sites, relax in the hot tub and then fall asleep listening to the waves crashing below. We shall return ! Scott & Nola Montgomery-Lee Camino, CA"

  • Fantastic rental

"Highly recommend. The rental was clean, beautiful and full of light . It has a large and fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, full stove, microwave and dishwasher) a comfortable bed, large closet and full bath. It would be very comfortable for an extended stay. Right in the middle of Old Town, it's across the street from 2 bookstores on one side and the bay on the other. The battery blew on the smoke alarm on the first day and the owner Joe was there to repair within 15 minutes. It's a perfect jumping off point for the Redwood forest on both sides of Eureka."

  • Peaceful and perfect for us!

"We arrived just before it began raining for two days. We got to watch the river go through the changes of rising and muddy to blue/green and perfect for fishing right from the living room window of this cozy log cabin in the woods. The owners were nearby to answer any questions we might have had, but greeted us upon arrival and filled us in on the simple workings of things. Having plentiful wood for the stove as well as Monitor heat to take the chill off while the fire takes off made it a cozy place to weather the storm and enjoy relaxing for the remainder of the week. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware and even a dishwasher to make clean up a breeze. Lots of books, puzzles, playing cards, pads to keep score gave us much to do while we waited out the storm. We will definitely be booking this pet-friendly place again. Bill, Renay and their dog, Sasha were wonderful hosts."

  • AWESOME PLACE

"We spent 3 nights at this wonderful property. Homey, comfortable and just what the doctor ordered for celebrating my wifes birthday. The view is stupendous, hot tub warm, grassy areas and a very inviting interior. Everything you need to chill if that is what you want to do.but close by restaurants are good as well- Bones(BBQ) has great food. The owners have a book/guide at the house of a lot of restaurants/things to do which is very helpful. The fireplace is great as well-loved the stock of firewood wood- thanks. We can't wait to go back."
