  • Don't miss this view!

"My husband and I selected Villa Mer after reading tons of reviews of Mendocino area rentals. In addition to our requirements of a king bed, outdoor grill, etc., we wanted a house with a nice view – preferably where you could enjoy a sunset while sipping wine. This house has fantastic views! Not even the view from the Ft. Bragg Botanical Garden tops this view, in my opinion. I just can’t say enough about the incredible view. We did experience a spectacular sunset while staying at Villa Mer and have many pictures to help us recall that evening. The house was very clean (and I’m picky about cleanliness) and comfortable. There were thoughtful touches in every room; for example, extra pillow choices in the closet, comfy throw blankets just where you needed them. We cooked each night and easily found all the necessities in the way of pots/pans, lids, knives, kitchen gadgets, and even garlic salt. An added bonus for us was watching the deer at dusk and seeing the lighthouse at night. If you stay here at the right time of year, I can imagine that whale watching would be fun. The owner of the property was very helpful in the reservation process, and always responded promptly to our e-mails. She’s very professional and makes sure that all the details are taken care of. Your satisfaction with all aspects of the property is a priority to her. I’ve not experienced this level of communication and preparedness when renting other VRBO properties. Bonnie could teach the others a thing or two."

Always wonderful if you are looking for best views of the coast and ocean, absolute peace and quiet, and sculputured gardens, you can't match this home. Hot tub on the deck, fireplace in bedroom, your cell phone doesn't work! Great kitchen. Drive thru the gate into the entry & it is you, the estates' beauty, the coast and the quiet."
