"We had a wonderful time at the Pacific Heights. It was perfect for our Oregon contingent traveling down to see old friends from Humboldt. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a very comfortable space, especially the living room and outdoor deck with wonderful ocean views overlooking the bay. There is also a path down to the beach which we used. The house was clean and well maintained. We would definitely rent this place again."Guest: Mary Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 7, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and were surprised by how much we loved this place. It would have been easy to stay for a whole week. The views were amazing, exactly as pictured and the house had everything that we needed. We were so sad to go, almost cried when having to leave! I was worried from the photos that the house being older would make me feel less comfortable in it. It did not. While it could use some updates, I would take the lower price that the owner offers vs having updates made and the price increased. It was great for a couple to stay in. If I had to stay in one of the two bedrooms downstairs I probably would not have appreciated it as much as I did staying in the loft because of the view from up there. While we were staying there was an issue with the hot tub that we were notified about upon arrival and the owner kept in close contact with us until it was fixed and worked with us to make us satisfied with the situation. Very pleasant to work with! Things we appreciated: The view!!!! The stereo in the sunroom The DVR - we set several things to record so we could watch on our own schedule. The cleanliness of the house The big shower in the bathroom downstairs! The view from the loft bedroom - and the fact that there is a 1/2 bath upstairs The very soft towels and sheets Improvement item: The mattress in the loft. The only item that I would say would really improve our stay was if the mattress in the loft were softer. It is very hard, I would equate it to laying on a carpeted floor. It would really make for a much more comfortable stay if either a foam mattress topper or a pillow top mattress were added to the house. I would love to come and rent this place for a month and stay and enjoy the area even more. Was an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go and loved coming home to this place at night!"Guest: Jessica B. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 25, 2014View listing
"Romantic, private, quiet, relaxing cabin! My short vacation with my boyfriend was spent camping two days, then here two days. We had a trip of many beautiful memories, thanks to ocean's window and the accommodating people that came with it. The cabin is cutely decorated, feels like a family's house. Very tidy and organized. We hope to come back many times in the future. PS go to bowling ball beach nearby! Its a hike but so worth it."Guest: benjen Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"Had a fantastic weekend here with friends. There's a nice charcoal grill and the hot tub, while compact, was lovely to have. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things you would need to cook an elaborate meal and the cabin is quite cozy. The pullout couch isn't the most luxurious, but it's doable for a couple of nights. Gualala is beautiful and you're a short drive from some great scenery and ocean views."Guest: Anon Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 2, 2014View listing
