"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Raven cottage was the most spectacular location we have stayed in California after 30 of years of traveling here ! The house had everything, even a resident cat next door, Trindad Retreats was very easy to work with and the location on the cliff was incredible. Every couple should stay here at least once !!"Guest: William F. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing

"We didn't just like it - WE LOVED IT!!! Just speechless! It has been such a long time that we had this heavenly comfortable feeling during our vacation. Marcie, Patty and Pat...God bless all of you sharing your priceless house. We lost our beloved 14 years old pooch this January, then came here with our new rescued 2 years old pooch to start our new chapter. This trip was a very special for our family. Our happiness truly started from this house. Entering from huge clean driveway, saw 49 Yrs flag (I'm huge fan of 49 Yrs since Montana time, so made me smile to see the flag:), then opened up with gorgeous endless ocean view & vast land holdings waiting..an exactly as Marcie described. Everything you need were there and we couldn't think of anything missing. Enjoyed cooking 5 nights and did take out dinner twice (nearby Thailand & Mexican restaurant foods were an excellent). Walked to the Cooks Beach with our pooch everyday even one rainy day. A wonderful beach and we all loved it! Local people were very friendly and our pooch had a good time playing with other pooches there too. Saw four Deer and two of them came to front yard, then saw even Whale one day at near ocean when we were hiking. Went fishing at next town peer, then saw many pelicans flying by. We have been stayed more than 20 VRBO houses so far, but this Pelican's house gave us the most "Home Sweet Home" feeling and gave us positive spirit and an extra energy. This is the house that you always want to go back again and again....PS:As a dog owner - many thanks for your safe & secure fence area for our pooch. She totally enjoyed your huge green rush garden:) Thank you so much for everything and your most comfortable house. We'll be be back again!"Guest: Richard & Kotoji Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 3, 2014View listing
"My wife and I and our Mini Schnauzer enjoyed 5 wonderful days at this beautiful home. The house was fantastic, the weather was unbelievable and all and all it was one of the best trips we've had in our 40 years together. The house as all the amenities you need for your stay, (with the exception of kindling and matches). The proximity to the trails was a plus too. We walked the trails by the bluffs, listening to the ocean and the sheep :) Great house, great spot!! We'll be back."Guest: Dave & Cokie Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 7, 2014View listing
