  • Sand Dune Serenity

"We are very familiar with the Fort Bragg and Mendicino area as we have been vacationing there since 1978. This property is by far the best equipped and appointed that we have stayed at. Practically everything was brand new. Totally private at the end of a private lane, 1/2 mile walk thru the dunes to the beach. Completely quite, slept with the windows open every night. Lots of deer wandering around eating the apples on the property. Exactly 7 miles north from the Train Station, downtown Fort Bragg. Only 2 miles drive north to Ten Mile where you can park on the road right at the beach. Our 2 dogs thought this was their vacation! Will stay again next year. It's always great to walk into a property and go WOW! This is way, way better than the pictures show. If you like solitude among the big trees, yet want to be within easy driving distance to town, this is the ticket."

  • romantic getaway

"We wanted to escape for a romantic weekend and this was the perfect place. Cozy, clean, and charming. We truly appreciated the attention to detail, and the simple yet well thought out decorating. We loved the hardwood floors, open beam ceilings, and all the windows displaying the amazing view. It was cold and foggy, but we were happy to escape our hometown heat, and cozy up to the warmth of the little wood stove. We explored nearby Anderson Valley and Mendocino, but honestly the highlight was hanging out in the deckhouse. We will most certainly return."

  • Perfect location for a romantic getaway :-)

"We stayed in Mendo View West and loved it from the moment we arrived! The suite is really more like an apartment and it's definitely done up to a luxurious level. Part of Mendocino's charm is that the fog can roll in after a beautiful sunny day and when that happens having a cosy spot to relax is a boon. There's a great fireplace to toast in front of while chillin with a glass of wine. The bathroom is beautifully appointed with a huge spa bath as well as a double shower. There's a fully fitted kitchen as well. All of this is within easy walking distance of "downtown" Mendocino and the headlands - beauty, great coffee, great food & restaurants. All in all - a perfect location for a romantic getaway!"

  • Very nice home with a wonderful view!

"We finished our vacation here before heading back to SF to fly home. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Had a great time watching the waves, enjoying the sunporch, and seeing the area sites."
