  • Pete & Trace

"1st time in the USA from AUS. Lucy was most helpful in meeting our accommodation arrangements from such a distance, and provided links and guides to all the local necessities. The house was really clean and tidy and met all our needs. We ended staying at home most nights around the BBQ just cause we felt so comfortable. Highly recommended. Thanks Lucy for helping us have a great holiday"

  • Intimate Wedding

"We had a small intimate wedding (both had been married before) with close family and friends. The villa is beautiful, the view is amazing and sooooo romantic. The staff was very nice and we had a fabulous wedding of my dreams. They supplied a cover for the spa and we were married over looking the pool with a beautiful view. I highly recommend "Vista de Oro" if you want a romantic, getaway with unbelievable ambiance."

  • Great home and location

"I stayed here for 5 nights with my parents, husband, and 2 daughters. Everyone had their own bed and it worked out great. The laundry is great too. The home also had a stroller, high chair, car booster seat, and pack n play. We used the stroller when we went to the Disney parks to hold food and coats. On the Disney web site it said you can't bring food in but when we went through the bag search they were letting people bring in snacks and water. Make sure you do Fast Passes, so easy and you save a lot of time waiting in line. The tricky part is you might have to walk across the park many times to get the rides you want. Get one for the end of night show, World of Color and you can get that early in the day and still get ones for other rides. We parked on property the first day at Disneyland but walked the next day. You can cut through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Just make sure you follow the signs to the theme parks and Downtown Disney. It took about the same time to walk as to drive a car and you save $17. You walk down a main street which is well lit so you feel safe. We saw fireworks every night from the backyard. We never ate a meal besides breakfast at the house but they had anything you would need to make a meal. My parents loved that they had coffee to make. They had plenty of toys for little kids and stacks of movies for kids and adults. There were a few shelves that had guide books and brochures to look at that were a nice touch. We did a day trip to Hollywood and did a hop on hop off tour bus, StarLine. You could get cheaper tickets if you booked on-line. A great way to see all over the area and not drive in the horrible traffic. We got off and visited Santa Monica Pier, the Farmers Market- great variety of food and shops. We also went to Universal Studios- not many rides and I got very motion sick on the Despicable Me one. About 3 rides are the same type of thing. We went on a Sat. which isn't good to do in the summer or any time since it is much busier. The waits were very long but they kept you moving which was nice."
