  • The magic fairy dust is the attention to detail.

"Imagine if you had a good family friend who lived a block away from Disney. Then imagine that this friend stocked their house with everything a family would need to enjoy a visit to Disneyland. Then they let you stay there. That, in a Chip n' Dale acorn shell, is Walt's Place. It's evident within minutes of walking in that Josh and Theresa love to host. Other reviewers have mentioned all the important things: the place is beautiful, centrally located, and stocked full of little Disney details. But the details make the difference. Coming from Eastern timezone? No problem; the kids' room has a blacked out window so they'll sleep better. Need to borrow a flashlight? No problem, they've got that. Need to read up on the hidden mickeys at Disneyland before you go? The book is on the coffee-table. There are all kinds of wonderful little things about Walt's Place. Coming back to a hotel makes you feel like you're a tourist. Coming home to Walt's Place was like coming home. It was like it was us who lived just a block from Disneyland. A quick note about the walk to Disneyland: the walk to the tram is barely longer than the walk to your car, but you do have to cross a street that is sometimes busy. But it really isn't much of a walk - it's just a little further than the Disneyland Hotel itself. When we come back to Disneyland, we'll be checking to make sure Walt's Place is available before we look anywhere else."

  • Best in Fullerton

"We have been staying with Lucy for several years and find her properties to be of excellent quality, cleanliness and value. She goes the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the linens are wonderful and the cottages (Winstons Cottage & Bella Eden) are well kept and in great condition. I would recommend any of Lucy's property for those looking to stay in Fullerton. Thank you Lucy! Karen & Jim Gulrich"

  • Vacation paradise

"Our family vacation included family from Hawaii and all over California. We could not have chosen a better house! You know when both kids and adults have as much fun at the vacation house as they do at Disneyland, this location is a winner. The little things like detergent provided for the washer and beach toys and chairs if you need them were wonderful surprises. The large kitchen was roomy enough to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We will definitely book this same warm, comfortable, clean roomy home again."

  • Perfection! Plan to refer anyone and everyone I know!

"Our trip was for a long holiday weekend to take our 8 and 5 year olds to Disneyland for the first time. I cannot begin to express how PERFECT our condo was for our stay. All 4 of us raved about it the entire time we were there. The décor is fresh, stylish, new, clean, with an adorable hint of Disney theme. We felt incredibly welcomed by a basket of snacks, wine, gift bags for the kids. The kids raved about their surprises and the games/books/toys in their room - played in their room for the first hour we got there! We wanted for nothing...helpful supplies like lotions and toiletries, sand toys for our beach day, and my Disney savior...a stroller! And, this momma sure enjoyed the current magazines and full-size high efficiency washer and dryer. Thank you for thinking of every last detail - it truly made our trip. You can count on our referral!"
