  • We fell in love

"Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! The cottage is tastefully designed, well appointed, and well maintained. There is a wonderful garden that is lush and full of whimsical surprises. Every morning we took our breakfast outside watching hummingbirds feeding in the "giant" sage. In the evening we could have sipped a glass of wine or lemonade on the top terrace while watching the sun set over the ocean; but we were still at the beach. Galleries, beaches and restaurants are within walking distance down the hillside- recommended to the fit only because the way back up after a day at the beach can be quite a workout. Otherwise, finding metered parking downtown Laguna Beach is possible, if a little tricky at times. We recommend a visit to the Laguna Art Museum."

  • Completely Charming

"We have been coming to San Clemente for several summers now and we always stay in a different place, some closer to restaurants and shopping (like this one) and some a little closer to the beach. I am always drawn to anything with a little charm and I have to say this is my favorite by far. It doesn't feel like a standard rental house, it feels like a really wonderful home. It's more spacious than I would have thought from the pictures. The kitchen is really well stocked, the place is gorgeously decorated and extremely clean. We spent every morning having coffee in the front yard and enjoying the hummingbirds. We managed to use the hot tub one night which was very relaxing. (I had never seen a two person hot tub before but it worked great for us) My favorite room was the den, since both my husband and I had to work a bit while we were there it was nice to do it with a pretty view. We didn't have a pet with us but if you are traveling with one it was very pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again, you can't beat the value. My only recommendations would be: a wand lighter in the kitchen (I don't know how those 1930's housewives lived without one) and more beach supplies (chairs, towels, etc.)"

  • Luxury in Irvine, with coffee to go

"This is our second time in this condo and we loved it. High end kitchen appliances. Two parking spaces (underground). Very nice pool and spa (that nobody uses so you have it to yourself). Starbucks and LA Fitness are within walking distance. The TV has direct TV with DVR so we were recording tons of shows (sports for me). Wi-Fi. Everything you can ask for. No issues and the residents are very friendly."
