"This property fit our needs perfectly. Location, location, location. From this condo we walked to the harbor on a daily basis. (The Science Center at the far end of the harbor is a must.) Each evening we watched the sun set over the harbor from two of many overlooks, both within a block from the condo. The opportunity to surf, run or walk along Strands and Salt Creek beaches is more than handy . Many morning runs took us through the sandy path of the protected area to Strands and then on to Salt Creek beaches. Restaurants in the area are abundant. Take your pick. We were lucky enough to be there during the Dana Point Grand Prix bike race. Great event. Again, we needed no car. If you choose to drive to find adventure, the choices are abundant. Far too many to mention. The "things to do and see" portion of the booklet in the condo gave us many ideas. This is definitely a 5 star choice for a home away from home."

"The location of this property is outstanding - close to the beach & Restaurants. We were there for July the 4th.
and were able to enjoy the fireworks from the deck - that was awesome! Where my problems start with this property is the condition is in. It needs painting and the cabinets and floors need to be done. I was disappointed,
because even though it is spacious and comfortable, it was not up to the standard of other rentals I've done thru VRBO. The grill on the deck was not working and even though the owner got somebody there to fixed it, it really
needs to be replace, since it doesn't heat up enough to grill the food like it's suppose to. The property hasn't been maintained and it's showing the age, wear & tear. I loved the location and so did my family, but I would not come back or recommend it, till it is fixed up. The owner was very nice and accommodating and pleasant to work with."

"We rented the 8 bedroom beach house for my son's wedding which was up the hill at the Palisades Gazebo Park. Both families were able to get to know each other in the most fabulous setting ever! We spent many of our meals outside on the patios, cool, rainy weather and all! On the wedding day, it rained all day but stopped right around the ceremony time! The bride got beautiful pictures getting ready in front of the 3rd story bedroom windows. The bride and groom were able to take the most breath-taking, cloudy, sunset wedding pictures ever! The next day was beautiful and sunny was able to fly kites and use the boogie and skim boards. The beach in front of the house was fairly secluded and did not have beach crowds. The house was clean and many cooking utensils, so all was needed was a quick trip to grocery store. I have got to get me one of these! Best beach wedding ever!"

"Our family stayed in this wonderful oceanfront home for a month. Wished we could stay forever!! The view from the deck is jaw dropping. Our favorite place to hang every night is the spacious deck to watch the everchanging sunsets, and then start the fire pit to enjoy some appetizers before dinner. The house had everything we needed to feel like home but still be on a dream vacation. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Peter, the owner, is excellent to work with. He was very responsive and stocked the house with everything we needed plus more. The location is fantastic since you are far away enough for privacy and quiet, but close to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. We love going to breakfast at Stacks. We loved walking on the beach and exploring tide pools near the Ocean Institute. We would definitely stay again."
