"Amazing location, great beach access, easy jumping point to anything in Orange County. I went with friend, and can't wait to take my kids. It is perfect for family. Surrounded by nature preserve with easy hikes right out your door. All these reviews are right about the view, but its the isolation from other modern residential developments and natural prime real estate that sets this apart."

"My friends and I attended a wine charity event in Dana Point and SJC and I chose the Bitchin' Beach House as our base. Such a good call. This place is truly unique and was very cool to spend a couple nights in. It's rootsy style and feel, coupled with its perfect location made our excursion memorable! Highly recommended!"

"We have been coming to Dana Point for five years now and enjoy all the area has to offer. While we have stayed in a number of places this the best ever from the views to the well appointed kitchen to a great floor plan. Peter and his wife do a super job in making the property ready for occupancy and stay connected throughout the visit to ensure all is well."

"This home turned out to be perfect our family reunion, and the owners were so friendly, responsive, professional and easy to work with. We definitely plan on returning if possible!
Our family needed a place that was big enough for 9 adult and two toddlers, with other family in the area visiting during the day. My grandparents were also staying at the house and they have mobility problems. The house was perfect in every way. The first floor was perfectly laid out with a bedroom and bathroom for my grandparents, and open common areas that made it easy for us to gather for meals, including a big patio set up with a big table, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. We spent a lot of happy hours out on that patio with the amazing view. The bedrooms were all comfortable, well furnished, with all the supplies that we needed. I especially appreciated all the little details, such as hand soap in all the bathrooms, a little table and chairs in the living room for toddlers, a walk-in pantry with all the kitchen appliances we needed, plenty of dishes and cups, plenty of towels in the cabinets (even beach towels), and candleholders (with candles in them) on the patio.
One thing to note is that one of the bedrooms has bunk beds. The upper bunk is best for a child; it did not feel stable enough for an adult.
This is also a wonderful area to stay in. It's pretty far from downtown LA, so I definitely recommend staying here and not leaving this general area if you don't need to. There are plenty of beautiful beaches in the area, including the ones on either side of the Ritz."
