A MUST STAY home
"Sorry for the delay in writing this review. We stayed during my boys spring break. You are so close to the Wedge (1 block). Loved that this home is in a quiet neighborhood. Closer to the pier it can get really congested and noisy. I would recommend getting a golf cart for your stay. Easy to park in the garage and great for running up to the store. Loved sitting out on the very private patio with the fire pit. We will definitely be back!"

"Chris is awesome! Very easy to work with. We had a great time at this home! The location was perfect!!! We had a really great time and the kids loved playing in the sand right in front of the house. Thank you so much!"

"This is a beautiful rental with great upgrades. The whole space served us well and was larger than we expected. We were VERY happy with this choice. View of Newport Bay is good, although I wish the deck wall itself was see-through (a few taller chairs are provided on the deck that help the view). Family beach is right there and Newport Beach is less than 3 blocks away (you can see it if you lean out of the deck!) with Newport Pier, restaurants, shops, etc. just a few blocks from there. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT LOCATION! Front & Deck is shaded in the hotter afternoons into evening; so nice. For a good workout, we walked the 2 miles to Balboa Pier & back! Love that this was NOT on the main beach boardwalk with all the chaos, crowds, bikes, and noise there. Location can be a bit noisy during the day due to the close proximity to the family beach, but typical for any urban setting at the beach. It was always pretty quiet at night. Beds were GREAT and we may go buy one ourselves! Kitchen was on the small size for accommodating more than 2 people at a time, but totally fine, beautiful & fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Love the large granite counter with bar seating on the other side. Laundry inside unit was super helpful (and you even provided the detergent!); BBQ is hard-lined to gas (nice!). Having the garage was great (it's super tiny, though) and we were always able to figure out parking for our visitors with a little effort or paying the nominal fee at the large Family Beach parking lot. Street Sweeping days were a challenge and you may want to remind your guests of it because they don't do that in many other states. Considering the cost & how nice the space is, better room fans could be provided, as there is no A/C (there was usually a good breeze there & I know no A/C is typical at the beach). We live in Georgia now, but both grew up in So Cal and spent many years of our youth & young adulthood at Newport Beach. Thanks for helping us have such a great new experience while visiting our Calif family & friends. Can't wait to return!"

"When I think of a place to get away to, this is the place. This was my second stay at this home and I just absolutely love it. Just about everything you need is provided for. So close to the beach and restaurants that you don't even need a car. Very clean, comfortable and organized.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the master bedroom, we left the french doors open to let in the sea breeze in and the music playing from the armoire all night, it was so romantic, peaceful and we slept like babies."
