  • Little Vaca

"This property and the owners are truly excellent. The property was more than I could ask for for my family and I. The view of the ocean was beautiful. It's a great location, just a few houses from the beach, near basketball courts and a playground for our little ones. The amenities provided such as bikes, beach umbrella, etc were a great plus. I definitely miss it already and wish I was there still."

  • Perfect for a quiet getaway!

"What a beautiful home! Comfortable, clean, well-furnished, and perfect for an individual, a mature couple’s destination or a quiet girl’s weekend. Bob and Louise were onsite to meet me when I arrived and make sure I was all set. The location is ideal in so many ways, close to the beach, shopping, and many restaurants. The kitchen is fully equipped with just about anything you can think of, and this made meal preparation at the condo very easy. Louise recommended a great fish market close by, Santa Monica Seafood on 17th Street just off of Newport Blvd., and they had an incredible selection of fresh fish. Having Pavillion’s just a couple of blocks away made for convenient grocery shopping. For dining out I enjoyed Harborside Restaurant near the Balboa Pier with friends who live close by, the calamari appetizer and halibut dinner entrée were both excellent. There is so much to compliment with the neighborhood being very quiet, being on the water created an incredible ambiance unlike any other, and having a place to park the car was priceless. Thank you, Bob and Louise!"

  • Best Location

"This is the best location in Newport to rent. I'm a local Newport Beach resident and wanted a mini vacation on the sand. It's close enough to the action, but just enough away to avoid the typical beach party noise, perfect for families. No car is necessary because everything is within walking distance like restaurants, the fun zone, great shops, the Balboa Pier and the Catalina Flyer. If you are feeling adventurous, rent a bike or a segway to venture up to the Newport Pier along the boardwalk. Or take a stroll on the sand to check out the famous Wedge and jetty area. The fun zone has boat rentals, boat tours and a ferry to Balboa Island. There are so many things to do within walking distance. The house was beautifully remodeled with a great kitchen, gorgeous fireplace and nice bedrooms. We kept the blinds open to always have that fabulous beach view. The patio was the best part. With a view of the beach, pier and park, it was never boring to sit on the patio and watch the action soaking up the warm Southern California sun. We relaxed in the morning with a cup of coffee, watched the gorgeous sunsets in the evening and even barbecued and enjoyed dinner on the patio. If you have kids you can sit back and relax while you watch the kids play in the park right in front of you. Take it from a local, you will not be disappointed in this property, it's the best location in the Newport Beach area. The property management company makes everything very easy."

  • It was a mansion and a beautiful one at that

"We decided to go to Newport Beach California for my children's holiday. We stayed one week in this amazing home. My brother and his family came along too.The owners of the home live local, so they greeted us right when we arrived. Anthony and Megan were their names. Anthony showed us how to use the TV and surround sound, jacuzzi, bbq and Megan gave us a tour of the home. They even gave us a beautiful basket filled with goodies, and wine, the wine of course being my favorite. We did have one issue with one of the showers, but they had a plumber come fix it the very next day. But there were 5 other working showers, so we were fine without one for the night. We decided to rent the guest house as well for the extra room. The guest house is actually attached to the home by a shared balcony, and there is a bedroom between the guest house and the main house. This bedroom was a lot of fun for the children as it was hidden behind a bookcase. The owners did it this way, so that the room can be used as part of the guest house or as part of the main house. It was brilliant, we felt like we were in a movie in this home. So much more grand then any hotel we have ever stayed at. The guest house has it's own entrance and it's own parking garage. The kitchen facility is absolutely incredible with tons of room for the whole family to gather around while I was doing the cooking. The family room is quite large as well, everything about this home is amazing. We only cooked three of the night that we were there. The other evenings we walked down to the local restaurants. The sunsets were amazing, the neighborhood was quiet."
