Could not ask for anything more
"Perched high on a hill overlooking San Clemente, with commanding views of the ocean, this beautifully furnished house provides everything a family could ask for. We spent a lovely Memorial Day weekend there (parents, two daughters, one future son in law), and were heartbroken when we had to leave :(. The house comes complete with high end furniture and daily necessities, a huge master bedroom with the most comfortable mattress ever, and a large library (books and DVDs). There is a big screen flat TV (60 or 70 inch?) ready with an HDMI cable to connect to your laptop and a powerful router, so if you don’t find what you are looking for in the video library you can always use your own Netflix or Amazon prime account, not to mention Youtube.. The front and back yards are well manicured and seem to get a lot of TLC. There is even a hose to wash the sand off surfboards and wetsuits. The driveway is large enough to accommodate two full size SUVs, and street parking is practically unlimited. The hot tub is by the fence, offering great views yet a reasonable amount of privacy :). Check in and check out were completely painless, and the owner was kind enough to stop by and make sure we had everything we needed. Two world famous surf spots are within a ten minutes drive: Doheny for beginners, and San Onofre for the more experienced surfer or for SUPs. A supermarket and a few chain restaurants are about a minute drive down the hill. Numerous more chic restaurants are about 4 minutes drive in downtown San Clemente. Overall, a great place. I already have my next visit scheduled!"

"We have been coming to San Clemente for several summers now and we always stay in a different place, some closer to restaurants and shopping (like this one) and some a little closer to the beach. I am always drawn to anything with a little charm and I have to say this is my favorite by far. It doesn't feel like a standard rental house, it feels like a really wonderful home. It's more spacious than I would have thought from the pictures. The kitchen is really well stocked, the place is gorgeously decorated and extremely clean. We spent every morning having coffee in the front yard and enjoying the hummingbirds. We managed to use the hot tub one night which was very relaxing. (I had never seen a two person hot tub before but it worked great for us) My favorite room was the den, since both my husband and I had to work a bit while we were there it was nice to do it with a pretty view. We didn't have a pet with us but if you are traveling with one it was very pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again, you can't beat the value. My only recommendations would be: a wand lighter in the kitchen (I don't know how those 1930's housewives lived without one) and more beach supplies (chairs, towels, etc.)"

"This house was much more than I was expecting. It was just amazing. It is very close to the beach, you can see the water and hear the waves from the balcony off the living room while u sit and eat or visit. It is very very roomy and spread out. There's a patio off the master bedroom that leads to the cutest back yard that has plenty of seating and even a cute little putting green. There are 2 bathrooms with showers/bathtubs with a separate vanity/sink area for each and a large half bath upstairs. The bedrooms are very roomy and decorated very beachy. I'm an only child so I like to be able to get away from people sometimes and this place has the perfect amount of separation that I didn't feel cramped by all the people we had with us. But also there are plenty of places to go when I did. There was literally E. V. E. R. Y. T. H. I. N. G. one would need in a house. Towels, beach towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, games, TV with cable in every room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from beautiful dishes, to spices and foil and baggies. There was plenty of silverware for an army pots, pans, cups bowls EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A KITHEN IS THERE. There's a huge bbq with all the utensils. There is a garage full of everything you need for a day at the beach, bikes, boogie boards, surf board, chairs, fins, even a wagon to put it all in. The owners are down to earth and very friendly and helpful as to what's around town to do. I can't wait to go back. I will be telling everybody I know who is looking for a beach house to go to this one."

"Truly like being in your own home. We rented this home as our base for our son's wedding in San Clemente. It served as our sleeping quarters, wedding prep for the groom and his groomsmen and a place to relax afterward with out of town guests. Everyone loved it. The outdoor area with plenty of seating and fire pit was perfect."
