  • Spacious and with a Fantastic View!!!

"Have you ever had a friend who had a place that you were very comfortable visiting, felt at home, and had a fantastic resort view so you just kept going back? This is how we felt at Casa Grande in Angela's condo. We love San Clemente for its unique history and architecture, the walkability of town, the selection of restaurants, and just an overall good vibe. Case Romantica is right next door for an historic architectural treasure. And this condo fits right in with the laid back San Clemente lifestyle, offering 3 bedrooms (1 king with ensuite, 1 queen, and a kids room with 2 children's bunks for 4). The large living room and dining area adjoin a deck through 12' sliders that open wide, inviting the outdoors in. The large kitchen has all that you need, with a new fridge, and everything else being very serviceable. The condo complex is a resident community, but the residents we met were all friendly and helpful, as are most folks in San Clemente. Angela, the owner, is great to work with, good and prompt communication, and she was flexible to meet our needs. The unit comes with two secured, covered, off street parking places large enough to easily accommodate my Ford F-150 4x4 with about 2" of headroom to spare. We went for a long weekend with my family (four adults, two young grandchildren) and the unit worked great. Close walk to train station, beach, pier, and shoreline walking path, and we even did a day in Disneyland only 25 minutes away. And let me say again, the view is fantastic. Unobstructed view of the ocean, beach, and beautiful sunsets while enjoying your glass of wine!"

  • Awesome House with Breathtaking Views

"This home and its location in San Clemente are fabulous! It is very spacious and decorated beautifully, with special amenities that enhanced our stay. The view is breathtaking; the sunsets are amazing. The pool is heated to the perfect temperature and the yard provides privacy. We had seven family members and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This is a truly special get-a-way place to relax in or adventure out from. The owner and property manager were both gracious and helpful. They made themselves available, should any concerns arise (although none did). San Clemente itself is a fun place to visit, with the ocean, beach, whale watching, shops, and good eateries. We all loved the sounds of the waves and each other's joy of sharing our time together. Thank you, Lou, for opening this home for others to share in its magic."

  • Excellent Home Away from Home

"My family and I stayed here while I was on a working vacation in the area. The facilities were amazing and really felt like you were living in a fully operational 'home'. The office space was great for working, the bedrooms and master en suite were very comfortable. The pool was used by us often but not much by other people so it was like we had our own pool most of the time. The underground parking was plentiful, safe and convenient and there were spots to store our bikes down there too. The proximity to the beach and bike trails was great - the short hike with not too many steps to the beach was easy for the kids even carrying their own boogie boards from the condo. I was especially impressed with all the little things that you may want as you travel; they really make sure that you have nearly everything you could possibly need. Stuff like shampoo, conditioner and soap, band aids, a drawer of toiletries, a printer, a computer to use, a nice BBQ, standard condiments and many spices available for cooking. The closets are stuffed full of other extra useful things like boogie boards, beach umbrellas, hats, blankets, pillows, sheets, and even an iron with an ironing board. There's also lots of space to unpack to store things away in drawers if you prefer that too. I'd easily stay here again if I was in the area, a wonderful home away from home."

  • Amazing vacation rental!

"We have stayed in quite a few VRBO rentals and this was BY FAR the most comfortable and best equipped. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware.....there was no need to bring all the items I brought along "just in case". The location is within an easy drive for many things to see and do. There are grocery stores and restaurants just minutes away. The bedrooms are comfortable and the attached baths are great, too. There was plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 3 children with room to spare. The back yard is lovely. My favorite time was spent reading on one of the lounge chairs under the umbrella. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night. Our 3-year-old triplet grandchildren loved the Baby Beach in Dana Point, as well as the trips to Legoland (a 30 minute drive) and Zoomars in San Clemente (15 minutes away). They also quickly discovered the box of toys in the walk-in closet of the master bedroom, and played with those as much as the ones we brought. We had a wonderful time during our week stay and would love to come back again."
