  • Excellent Vacation

"We had an amazing week in St Clemente. The unit was just perfect! It was a quick and easy (1/2 block) walk to the beach and pier. The views were amazing from the upstairs living area of the unit. There was a beautiful beach or pier view from every window, and sitting on the patio provided a panoramic view that was beautiful and relaxing. The assigned parking spot in the garage was a huge plus - it is also located right next to the elevator to the unit, which made it easy to bring up luggage etc and carry items to and from the beach. We loved St Clemente and the relaxed atmosphere - we will definitely be back. We loved eating breakfast at The Beach Garden Cafe (across from the pier and just around the corner from the condo), and our favorite dinner spot was South of Nicks (the best salsa!). Highly recommend!"

  • Spacious and with a Fantastic View!!!

"Have you ever had a friend who had a place that you were very comfortable visiting, felt at home, and had a fantastic resort view so you just kept going back? This is how we felt at Casa Grande in Angela's condo. We love San Clemente for its unique history and architecture, the walkability of town, the selection of restaurants, and just an overall good vibe. Case Romantica is right next door for an historic architectural treasure. And this condo fits right in with the laid back San Clemente lifestyle, offering 3 bedrooms (1 king with ensuite, 1 queen, and a kids room with 2 children's bunks for 4). The large living room and dining area adjoin a deck through 12' sliders that open wide, inviting the outdoors in. The large kitchen has all that you need, with a new fridge, and everything else being very serviceable. The condo complex is a resident community, but the residents we met were all friendly and helpful, as are most folks in San Clemente. Angela, the owner, is great to work with, good and prompt communication, and she was flexible to meet our needs. The unit comes with two secured, covered, off street parking places large enough to easily accommodate my Ford F-150 4x4 with about 2" of headroom to spare. We went for a long weekend with my family (four adults, two young grandchildren) and the unit worked great. Close walk to train station, beach, pier, and shoreline walking path, and we even did a day in Disneyland only 25 minutes away. And let me say again, the view is fantastic. Unobstructed view of the ocean, beach, and beautiful sunsets while enjoying your glass of wine!"

  • San Clemente - Great Place to Stay

"We stayed in this beautiful condo for 6 days and 5 nights. It turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay. The pictures accurately reflect what the condo looks like. Everything was clean and in working order. We chose not to cook, but we could have easily done so since the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The condo was very comfortable and we felt very safe. A big plus was the reserved parking space in the underground garage! Parking is difficult in this area, but we never had to worry since we knew we had our assigned parking space waiting for us when we returned from our outings! We walked on the beach everyday and there are stairs leading from the small park next door down to the beach. We also enjoyed just sitting on the patio in the early morning and evening enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The grocery store was close by as well as good restaurants and local shops. Our favorite restaurant was The Fisherman Restaurant on the pier. They actually have two restaurants....a casual one that does a great happy hour (M-F), and the other one with a more extensive menu. They seafood is fantastic and their portions are very generous! We recommend going to Dana Point Harbor which is just a few miles north of San Clemente. There are some good restaurants there and you can take whale & dolphin watching boat trips. We spent the better part of the day at Dana Point Harbor.....went on a boat trip and saw LOTS of dolphins and then enjoyed a wonderful meal afterwards. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and were extremely happy with our accommodations. Eileen & Mike, the owners, were very helpful about recommending places to go. They were also very easy to work with on the rental. They had a welcome gift of fresh grapefruit and oranges from their own grove. We certainly enjoyed the fruit with our breakfast every morning!"

  • Completely Charming

"We have been coming to San Clemente for several summers now and we always stay in a different place, some closer to restaurants and shopping (like this one) and some a little closer to the beach. I am always drawn to anything with a little charm and I have to say this is my favorite by far. It doesn't feel like a standard rental house, it feels like a really wonderful home. It's more spacious than I would have thought from the pictures. The kitchen is really well stocked, the place is gorgeously decorated and extremely clean. We spent every morning having coffee in the front yard and enjoying the hummingbirds. We managed to use the hot tub one night which was very relaxing. (I had never seen a two person hot tub before but it worked great for us) My favorite room was the den, since both my husband and I had to work a bit while we were there it was nice to do it with a pretty view. We didn't have a pet with us but if you are traveling with one it was very pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again, you can't beat the value. My only recommendations would be: a wand lighter in the kitchen (I don't know how those 1930's housewives lived without one) and more beach supplies (chairs, towels, etc.)"
